Kyrie to the Mavs means he’s not going to the Lakers, Clippers etc. Teams that have been rumored to be interested in Jazz players. Will this make them more desperate? Probably not, but now there will be more actual discussions about potential deals rather than all those teams trying to make a deal to get Kyrie and holding everything else on the backburner.

Yeah, no way he plays tomorrow. Nba has to make the trade official, has to pass a physical, etc.

Actually this trade removes Dinwiddie and Finney-Smith off their roster sheet. Surely it’s a W to go over .500 again!
