Charles Barkley explains why him and Jordan haven’t spoken in 10 years…”I love the guy, I miss the guy but I gotta do my job. I said I didn’t know he’d ever be successful as a General Manager…He hires too many of his friends.”

Just proving Chucks point. The man told Jordan something he didn’t want to hear and ditched him.

Stupid ass tik tok music was so not needed

  3. Parking_Net4440

Gotta love Chuck for being the realest person in basketball media. No fluff.

  4. -vanking023-

wow they didn’t even talk during the 75th anniversary?

  5. YayoBankroll

That’s the downside of being as outspoken as Chuck is. You’re gonna offend people and might lose relationships.

  6. haha-brad

Still holds true to this day unfortunately

  7. KnickedUp

Wild how MJ being so inept in the front office never gets brought up. Imagine if Bron was there in that posiition after his career and had no playoff wins in 13 years?

  8. vsouto02

MJ hires dickriders to run his franchise lmao

  9. Gratitude15

Ego as an individual contributor is different from ego as an owner and manager. Yikes.

Mike is a total loser of an Owner. Chuck was too kind if anything. Maybe if Mike listened his team would be good.

  11. Barkley has had his problems, but Michael Jordan is definitely an all time bozo and a completely inept NBA owner.

I think the Bobcats’/Hornets’ record in the last decade proves Sir Charles was probably right.

That’s one of those things that had he said it to MJ privately first and then aired it out to the world MJ probably would have been cordial to him in public but just not fucked with him privately.

But saying that about MJ before telling him first was a slight that someone with MJ’s psychological profile just wasn’t going to take well which is why he has all those yes men around him because everybody already knows what he’s like. Chuck as one of his closest friends should have known it would go south like that.

He had every right to feel that way about a MJ and say it publicly but he couldn’t possibly be shocked how MJ would react when it was already known MJ would make up things other people said about him to motivate him. God forbid someone actually slighted that man the fire of revenge it would light under him

MJ really the GOAT on the court and WOAT in the front office

  15. EGarrett

The irony of this is that it demonstrated that Michael didn’t have the thick skin that he expected everyone else on the Bulls to have when dealing with his criticism.

  16. IrelandDzair

im just sitting here thinking its been since the 90s then im like “damn if you havent talked in ten years its just been since 2013”. feels like theres people i accidentally havent talked to since 2013 let alone on purpose lol

  17. Strategyboyz21

With everything that’s happened over the past couple years: death, plagues, and other NBA beefs being settled, it’s pretty clear MJ just doesn’t value the friendship that much if he won’t try to reconcile this.

  18. thegoddessunicorn

This is the only reason I don’t want Wemby on the Hornets.

  19. jbmvmmmmu

MJ is next level petty.Holding a grudge for so long and even avoiding Barkley at 75th anniversary

  20. captyossarian1991

Don’t know a Hornets fan that doesn’t agree, multiple friends and family in key positions. He’s cheap and has almost assuredly been behind some of our worst moves. Best thing he’s done is get our name back.

  21. Buckus93

Jordan the basketball player was unstoppable.

Jordan the GM is too much like MC Hammer the rapper.

  22. SenteredOne

It’s crazy how MJ is both the GOAT and the worse lol. He’s making serious cash though, can’t hate on that.

And props to Chuck for always being real and never faltering.

  23. GreatMight

MJ probably is just trying to sell the franchise for a profit in a few years

  24. BloodMossHunter

Dude Chuck just perfectly explained how the situation works that made me click. “Theyre on YOUR private jet, they arent gonna tell you no”. Fuck. So true.

  25. Turd_Wrangler_Guy

God it’s gotta be so lonely to live like that

  26. djkhan23

Accurate analysis of the yes man around Michael flying in his private jets saying yes to everything he says.

Michael is the GOAT and still a giant douche

  27. Duel_Option

    Y’all are hilarious.

I think MJ is the goat, but he’s also fucking certifiably crazy.

Him taking something like this personally is his MO, if you’re not with him and supporting whatever the hell he does, he’s going to treat you like shit.

  28. mj is a terrible owner and a person pretty much. how thin skinned can you be. jesus

  29. Cipher32

For all the credit he gets for being “thick skinned” and “MJ would never” memes. Jordan’s proven to be a really sensitive person.

Which isn’t necessarily a bad thing but it seems that he’s also just plain petty. Especially since he’s retired and can’t prove his point through superior basketball play.

  30. Jordan from the Kyrie school of keeping friends

  31. Astro_Sloth

Man Imagine an alternate reality where they’re still tight and MJ comes into the studio to talk shit with Chuck and the crew every now and then, and ask Shaq how many rings he got lol

  32. sexygodzilla

Imagine giving up a friendship with Chuck because you don’t want to admit your team sucks.
