This is a raptor’s mouthpiece trying to drum up a bidding war for OG. It sounds like they’re not happy with the interest they’ve received for OG so far, but we HAVE made a bid for him and are talking about it.
If we were going to put in a bid for Pascal Siakam, and wanted to keep Ja, Adams, Jaren and Bane, would be to trade Brooks, Green, Ziaire, Brandon + picks, I think you’d need at least three firsts. YOu could do our pick this year, the 24 GSW and our 25-pick unprotected, and honestly, I think that’s fair for Siakam. The first question in my mind is if he can start alongside Jaren and Adams?
What I like about a potential OG trade is that his age means we don’t have to choose between our long-term and short term plans in an acquisition. He would be a nice offensive upgrade on Dillon while maintaining the defence.
I think our needs are stronger on the offensive end but in terms of move that can improve us without sacrificing good aspects of our roster, it is really nice.
Pascal dosnt make sense at all unless you want rings now and blow up the future. Will only get him for this year and next next as we won’t be able to afford him when he hits FA in ’24 with Banes contract kicking in
I get going for OG. He’s an awesome fit for what we need. Pascal I don’t understand. He doesn’t help our shooting and what he is really good at, Ja is also good at. And not a great defender.
