While I love the possibility of Sharpe reaching his peak I would do this for dame in a hart-beat – we owe him selling out to win now or next year and sadly I don’t see that with how things currently sit. When we lost to the nuggets in that series with dame going off off I told my watching mates – this franchise is wasting dame and letting him down, he is a g but needs a legit running mate.

It funny reading people’s reaction to a trade like this. On one hand you want Dame to be able to compete for a championship but you’re going to be unhappy with the guy he can actually do it with? Almost every championship has been one with a top 5 guy in the NBA. Bringing on KD and making Dame the 2nd best player on his own team? Dame would never get a better opportunity to compete than this right here.

I’m genuinely impressed.. usually when discussing a potential superstar trade we’d be treated by National media like a shithole who isn’t even allowed to sniff at said superstar’s direction. This guy understood our situation and put together a reasonable package for KD. Kudos to him.

Personally, I don’t think they’ll win a championship due to a lack of depth but I think you’ll see a Finals or two that would cement Dame’s legacy as the GOAT Blazer.
Realistically, KD’s legs probably shatter the moment he steps foot at PDX Airport.
