    I was forecasting nothing so I guess I cannot be disappointed. Good shooter but always injured. I wonder who the matching salary is.

    Edit – $14m salary, I’m nervous

    Edit 2 – Danny Green??? LMAO play two games and get traded. Interesting I don’t know why they put him in the rotation at all now.

    Edit 3 – OG rumoured to the GSW, end me if that happens

    Edit 4 – Kennard is under contract for next season. That is very good news for working over the cap and gives them leverage in potentially extending Dillon.

    Absolute W trade as far as Im concerned. Bonafide shooter and we only had to ship out Danny Green to do it. Danny is a legit vet and a pros pro but dude wasnt gonna contribute to winning a chip at his age and with his injury history. Kennard might be able to help us as a bench shooter.

    Sucks that Danny seemingly did not have enough in the tank. Also sucks that Kennard is seemingly our big move. At least we now have someone other than Bane who in theory can reliably hit a 3

    Does anyone know, and have proof, if Kennard is a good movement shooter/shooter off the dribble? I always though he was a stationary shooter.

    2 years left on his deal, last year being a team option.

    The spacing for Ja is gonna be crazy during those Ja/Bane/Luke minutes.

    My report on kennard:

    -Still scared to shoot from three, has been pulling up in the midrange way more frequently this season.
    – Run plays and get him open, he is going to hit nearly everything. Dude is a laser.
    – Much improved man to man defense this season.
    – He gets these small, nagging injuries which seems fairly often now.

    In general i like this trade for luke cause he gets a point guard who will actually create shots for him.

    I really like the additional shooting. I think this is a good move for us that isn’t all in. I think the worst thing we could do is overpay for help this year and have it hamper is a year or two down the line. The guys are still young. Our real window is a season or two away

    Honestly, this is the kind of money ball move (that I would never consider) that I expected to happen. I’m a simple minded moron that only understands “just get more baskets than the other team,” so hopefully it plays out lol

    After the PHX trade, I’m not upset this was our move. Someone said we are 2-3 years away from our actual window, so going all in now after so many west coast transactions may have been premature. Honestly, I was hoping Brookes got moved because I don’t see them resigning him.

    Some Luke stats. He has played 20+ minutes in 13 games since December 1st. He scored in double figures 9 times in those games. Shooting around 40% from 3. And had a positive +/- in 10 out of those 13 games. So I think he can help us and the cost was minimal.

    Guy is legitimately one of the best shooters in the NBA. Deginite upgrade on Green if we’re holsing onto that salary. Awesome acquisition.
