At the very least, McDaniels will offer more of a scoring threat than Thybulle. Thybulle’s ball handling skills a shooting skills never developed.
Mattisse would rarely get shot attempts he has games with only 2 shot attempts

As a philly fan, I hope Thybulle makes Doc regret not developing him (like Isaiah Joe and Bassey is right now), and Morey for not extending him. Jalen Mcdaniels is a decent pickup though, lets see if he gets minutes LOL
I liked Matisse defensive presence but at the same time sixers have plenty of guys under 6”8 but they really needed some forward depth got a almost 40 year old pj starting who is also under sized. I think it’s possible McDaniels starts and improves with the team.
The same ones crying over Matisse being traded are mad that the bench losses leads he averages 3x more points than pj tucker 4x more than Matisse a bit more than half of what Harris scores. The bench scoring was desperately needed. Matisse was an elite defender but at the same time at 6”5 he’s not getting minutes with maxey and melton and he’s a bit small for the small forward. Matisse coming off the bench didn’t affect winning as much because the bench was easily outscored.
I don't think Thybulle is any better then Tucker this season. They both play great D, and they both bad when it comes to shooting the 3. I think PJ needs to go too.

I just hate how people keep talking about how we needed scoring from Matisse but keep giving 37 year old PJ the pass. Last year Matisse played well in the starting lineup moving and slashing. Doc benched him for reasons unknown and then give him minimal minutes. How the hell was he suppose to showcase his development sitting on the bench. I hate the Sixers so much. After all this: Joel, Shake, Furk, Maxey, and Reed is what we are left with after all that "process" stupidity. Our 3rd ALL-DEFENSE player out the door.
