  1. Man, as a Thunder fan living in Oklahoma; I’ve been so proud of the Kings this season stunting on the media who only talk about big markets.

I’m rooting for y’all this season and believe you can make the playoffs! Let’s go Kings! #beamteam

  2. Everyone is losing their minds because we didn’t make a trade for a big name player. Yes on paper a lot of teams got better but just because they have a lot of big time name players, doesn’t mean they’ll gel together nicely or that they’ll stay healthy. This team has great chemistry and adding a big name player may mess up our chemistry. Lots of so called kings fans are already putting us possibly not even making play in. Let things play out and see what happens first smh

  3. I love how you explained this.
We all love the Sac Kings. I wanted us to get some help moving forward.
But I have to say I really like everyone on this team. I'm happy we get to see this team grow together.
    Let's go kings!!!

  4. forget those clowns dawg u been A1 since i started followin 🔥🔥

KIngs made the right choice, those teams made those moves because they've been underwhelming, we've been steady afloat no reason to fix something that wasn't broken

  5. I am glad nobody was traded from the kings. The kings are beginning to gel together especially the second squad headed by Lyles and monk. All the players love to play in Sacramento and the arena is full every time they play at home. However the win last night against the Rockets was ugly and they just got lucky. There was practically no defense at all.Luckily the second squad played a decent defense . Huerter cannot play defense and he is struggling. Why not replace him with Lyles and or monk in the starting line up.What happened to Holmes. If he does not play then he could have been a big trade for another big man. MikeBrown has to emphasize defense always or else they are going to get burn against Dallas.

  6. Love your Passion, Matt!
That's why you are so good at what u do!!
IM TOTALLY OK WITH NO TRADE. LETS RIDE WITH OUR GUYS AND LET THE OFF SEASON TAKE CARE OF ITSELF. TRUST MONTY TIL.HE GIVES US A RESON NOT TO.
    IM ALL IN!!

  7. Get Melo b that might b a good pick up and we can move or waive a player we are not using at all. Just a thought.

  8. Again nothing is wrong with the kings players except playing bad defense. And this can be improved overtime with good coaching . So it is up to Mike Brown or it will be his demise.

  9. The one thing I wish we would've done at the deadline is to get a backup 5. I like Metu but he isn't good at the 5. Metu gets bullied in the paint way too often but love his energy and could be an 11th or 12th man. Lyles has been better at the 5 both end of last and all this season. Hopefully we can get someone from the buyout. Metu and Okpala are the main reasons why Sac's defense drops off big time from starters to bench

  10. I know this is an unpopular idea based on his contract but I'd love to see John Collins on this team…. However, my favorite aspect of this team is their unselfishness. In post game interviews, nobody talks about themselves. From Foxy to Domas all the way down it's obvious how much they care about each other suceeding. It's so refreshing…. That being said I think John Collins fits seemlessing in on this team.. I mean he can manage to play with Trae who's usage rate is through the roof and can't be easy to play with. Plug him onto this team centric offense and I see a top 2 seed minimum.

  11. If people are upset about lack of trades, I think they are forgetting a few key items:

    1. The Kings have been remarkably resilient all season, we should expect 14-16 more wins and a real possibility of more than that.

    2. There was player movement, but only two teams look like they definitely improved, Clippers and Timberwolves. Suns and Mavericks may have improved, but they both lost a lot of depth. The Lakers are too far back to be a concern, especially when our record against them is 3-1. All these remarks are in regards to the regular season.

    3. These teams are playing each other and us, meaning not every team can get the records (and possibly none of them) to drop us down by much or at all. A split this week with Dallas is more than possible, a victory or two against Phoenix isn't out of the question (there is a great chance CP3 and/or KD don't play in some or all of our 3 meetings)

    4. Our team has the greatest continuity in the west and we continue to make strides each month.

  12. I think the fans just wanna make a trade so they can make a trade, but the reality is the Kings are not in the position to make a trade.

I mean, yeah, Monte did try to do some moves and had targets, but it didnt push through, but he didnt hit the panic mode.

Holmes and Alex Len are not good assets.

Holmes contract is bad, and you can find Alex Len type of players on cheaper price.

The Kings have the assets but those assets are the reason why the team is where it is now. Better than the last 16 years.

  13. At the end of the day your right sometimes fans can be irrational me included but the more I think about it I would rather keep the same team we have and not give up too much

  14. No defense no ring simple as that. Unlike most people the playoffs don't mean much to me. If you ain't first youre last-ricky bobby. We are 3rd in the west and have been for awhile why can't we win this year? Didn't the sun's go from bottom to top in one year and make a championship series. So why can't we? Ain't happening with this defense. Don't get me wrong the front office and coach are awesome this year but the kings have already been terrible defensively even in our heyday we left a ring on the table in 02 because of defense (and some other you now what!) Defense wins rings and or defense is so sub par is embarrassing and I don't think we finish in the top 6 and defense will be the reason why. The warriors, dallas, Clippers, and sun's are all waking up and starting to elevate their play. I get we are doing ourselves up for the future but there is a lot of defensive upgrades on the market for cheap that we could have used

  15. We have decent situational defense, with one or two more defensive stpppers we can be consistently good defensively. If you get a stopper with limited offense it would be fairly cheap and we have so much offense we can give up a offensive bench player and still have more than enough core power to beat any team while limiting their scoring.

  16. Do you think keon Ellis has potential as a backup or should we not give up on Mitchell… Also your fired up and very animated Matt that said I'm loving this podcast lol 😂😂

  17. It’s crazy to say a championship core, gives me goosebumps as a Kings fan, I could never imagine. I have a feeling that this team will be special.
