his stats from this year look very bad, but from 2019-22 with the pacers he averaged 10 ppg on 39% from three on good volume so there is some reason to believe he could contribute a bit and is better than what he’s shown this season with the hawks
either way a buyout signing isn’t really gonna make or break the season it’s just extra insurance on the margins

If he can play like he did for the Pacers, he will be a great depth piece for the Mavs. He can play great defense on wings. And he has (had) a good corner three. He’s also a great locker room guy. Low risk signing in my opinion.

Nick basically said, “I’d prefer Will Barton, Stanley Johnson, or Patrick Beverly. But the Mavs are probably going to get Justin Holiday.” Nick, if you’re lurking, well done.
