Ben always looks stiff on drives vs his Philly self. Until he can regain his back movement, we won’t see anything close to what Philly Ben was.

Let him rehab on his own until he’s ready cuz Ben without athletic ability is not even an nba level player. His whole game relies on him being an athletic monster so just throwing him out there when he’s moving like a 40-year old man is not worth anybody’s time.

He currently gets paid 30Mill a year and most of our role players are better than him…

For anyone who actually wants to take a look at Ben’s situation in good-faith, I recommend reading [this](https://twitter.com/erikslater_/status/1625551526482612224) from Erik Slater. It’s already been observed from other NBA players who had Ben’s type of surgery, that the first year after the procedure is usually terrible. Don’t expect him to start looking like his old self until next season and the way these players look in their first season after the surgery, typically doesn’t reflect how they’ll be after full recovery.

*”The study found that players who had surgery “played significantly fewer games the following season and had a larger decrease in PER” as compared to those with the injury who did not. However, it did find that those players typically return to their normal level of play the second season after surgery.*
*“These results showed that by the second postoperative season, players are able to return to the level of play in terms of games played per season and PER. This suggests that player performance 1 year after lumbar discectomy may not be indicative of future prognosis and success.”*
*“While operatively treated players had a decline in games played and PER during the first postoperative season, no difference in either statistic was seen by the second season compared with controls,” the study concluded.”*

Then sit and rehab until he’s actually useful. Holding team and lineup hostage by playing how he is

Honestly i don’t even hate the guy, kind of feel bad for him sometimes since it seems like the whole world is laughing at him lol.
I don’t doubt that his back is affecting him. Just a bit strange because he had that 4-5 game stretch where he was starting to look good. Double digit points in all those games and thought he turned a corner. Hopefully he can get back there soon

Shut him down. give more minutes to other wings

It’s def more than this. Last game, Ben could not have played worse and looked hesitant on everything he did. Then the worse thing I saw that made me lose almost all hope for him is at the end of the game when I see him joking with a dude behind the bench and look completely unfazed. Any supposed star player who had this type of game and whose team lost like we did would be at minimum distraught and do everything to change. I think Ben just likes the fame and just simply does not have what it takes anymore to be a valuable asset to an NBA team, no matter how much you pay him

Might as well shut him down for the season if it’ll help him

I feel like these things don’t usually get better with age.

Guys, it’s the yips. He’s terrified of shooting and he doesn’t love the game anymore. I’m on reddit, I must have a professional understanding of the psychological health of a complete stranger.
