  1. I’m one of those fans he is talking bout i was so heartbroken when he left us.. when I got the news he was back I so so so so so happy.. I said it before he was a kid when he was here.. cut him slack.. n people were so hard on him Im his age n now he is back as a adult as he is Bettr than ever I’m so happy the lakers organization saw his talent n brought him back😢 thank you genie rob n all the faces who brought back my boy.. love you DLow god is good let’s get some wins in

  2. Timberwolves fan here: 🐺

Dlo looks smooth playing next to LeBron & AD. Lakers look like a more natural fit for him.

We needed veteran leadership and a pass-first floor general and Lakers needed shot-making.

It was a great trade for everyone WIN/WIN/WIN 👏

  3. This new team can keep lebron minutes under 32 rest of season. We need him fresh if they want to make a post season push. I like the shooting and spacing it’s refreshing to see

  4. It's funny, former Laker fans that saw when he was first here literally saw him grow. From an immature kid who was snitching on teammates and was very inconsistent now he's a little bit more Poise being a different situation.

He was an All-Star in Brooklyn, went to the Warriors and learned how to shoot off the dribble and off the catch playing with Steph Curry and learning from Klay Thompson and Steve Kerr, then he played with the Timberwolves and saw dysfunction so now I think he's a little bit more poised and ready for the situation

  5. Relax Laker fans.. good to see him back but we still have a mountain to climb to make the playoffs. Good win tho.. Let’s go Lakers!

  6. That is why i always say change is inevitable. He accepted the change when he got traded mature and work hard and see he is back in LA. He's not mad about what happened years ago. He now has an opportunity to get things done here again. I love his humbleness

  7. Laker going to try to get kyrie this off-season unfortunately dlo will be let go if they get kyrie so if I were dlo I would think about that

  8. Dam I wish Kobe was here to this dudes maturity.. he did some silly ish when he was young but he gets it NOW!

  9. Gotta give Rob some credit here. He turned Westbrook into three functional players that can contribute to winning basketball

  10. It would be so funny if another situation came up and he snitched about that too

  11. May the real Russell please stand up, again may I have ur attention plz may the real russ please stand up please stand up any other russ is a cancer

  12. from Ice in my Veins to Like I never left, this dude is effortless when it comes to oncourt, post shot celebrations lol

  13. The key to the Lakers future success this season will be their health. They have the players to win a Championship, but they must stay healthy. As an 'old schooler', I would love to see another Celtics v. Lakers Championship series.

  14. As a Wolves person. I loved DLo. Still do. But I swear he plays way better for the Lakers 😂😂

  15. People forget like DLo ain’t turnaround his whole career and turned himself into a allstar in BK . Highly skilled highly talented

  16. Notice how the player on the team says when lebron is in it makes things easier and smoother, but you pros in the comments will say "Brons the issue"

  17. Crazy how D angelo is bursting with positivity and Russ was in so much negativity. Just like Dlo says here, he enjoys playing ball… feels excited to be home…. just spreads his good energy all around. Truly the missing piece because of his obviously ultimate self confidence

Russell westbrook is kinda a good dude and hella competitive but it just comes off wrong, especially in LA, he was a ticking bomb, waiting to go off at any time. No idea why. He should calm down and find himself again but i m not sure thats possible. Even when he says lets go out and have fun it sounds wrong….. the man is in a deeply ruined mental state after his LA stint. It was homecoming and a dream come true that became a nightmare.

Dangelo is in another universe from Russ right now, and also his game fits this team much better. It's like a win win both on and off the court.

The Lakers are back, simple as that. The Westbrook experiment that even a blind man could seee wasnt gonna work, is over in 1.5 seasons, and just in the right time for LAL not to waste another year of Lebron's late career

  18. To think…
Then- Lakers President of Basketball Ops Magic Johnson (and to an extent GM Rob Pelinka) jettisoned Russell in 2017 after drafting Lonzo Ball, who was billed “the new face of the Lakers.”

Magic’s reasoning? He needed a leader.

Fast forward 6 years later: Ball is long gone, Russell returns ready to be a true leader (and PG) this ball club was sorely lacking.
