I would say making the honeycombs bigger more organized would do more for the visual clarity. Pick between the existing or past colors but limit it to at most 3 in the scheme.
On the font side I really like the hornets type you designed. But it would look best on a more minimal jersey. Similar to the buzz city ones you have but I would stray away from black.
And yes! All teams should go back to the mascot dribbling a basketball.

The uniforms are a bit on the busy side but I really did the lock up with the word marks and the crown, especially for the cursive “Hornets” script. The basketball at the top of the crown is a really nice touch!

Hornets don’t need to rebrand the jerseys and courts look nice. The only teams that desperately need a rebrand are the pistons and the clippers

Love the ideas, just a whole lot going on here. I’d make the honey combs bigger, and get rid of the stroke on the outline on the pinstripe. I personally would also remove the crown above the Charlotte word mark. But the idea is still great
