Masai seemed very confident they can sign all 3 free agents. Meaning they feel Fred might not get the big bag he thinks he can get. They did the same with lowry ….they let lowry test the market to see if another team would give him the big contract and no team did… and lowry had no choice but to take what Masai was offering. I see same happening to Fred
This guy signing with a new agent does not bold well and with limited point guards on the market, I doubt he stays. Raptors will probably lose him this summer.
Let Dowtin, Barns or even Banton take over. Fred is overrated. Let him walk. If we need mentorship, can always sign some free agent veteran for cheap. Jeremy Lin would work.
