   The Tsai hate never made any sense to me (strictly as an owner). He came in and was immediately willing to drop a monumental bag on the big 3 with zero hesitation. People fawn over Lacob and the Warriors paying absurd luxury taxes, but Tsai was doing the same exact thing. We’ve been right behind them in highest team payroll for awhile now.

   I still see Nets fans on Twitter call him cheap, and I’m legitimately dumbfounded every time I see it. Like yeah, he didn’t take back Kuzma that one time, but we were easily the favorites with the big 3 already, and Kuzma wasn’t nearly as good as he is now. The Warriors made a similar cost cutting move in not re-signing Gart Payton II this summer. It’s not uncommon even for the best owners.
