He alluded to some issues going on in his private life that could also be affecting his attitude on the court in addition to all the losing.
Understandable. Losing sucks. Nobody seems happy on the court. The season is almost over tho, so that’s a relief for everybody.
It’s been obvious to anyone with eyes.
I know some people have felt like Luka’s been getting too much unfair hate for all our struggles lately, and there’s probably some truth to that sentiment.
I’d argue a solid chunk of the criticism has been quite fair, and at least speaking for myself, my criticisms of him come from a place of someone in his corner, and I’d assume most of the critics here are the same way. I want him to succeed, and I still believe he will.
Man as I’m pissed off as I am this shit makes me sad. I hope whatever is going on in his personal life works itself out because he almost seemed like he wanted to cry. I hate seeing him like this.
I’ve been wondering if something has been going on with him off the court. He has just seemed angrier this year. I don’t know if it has something to do with the whole court issue he had with his mom at beginning of the season or what. Of course it doesn’t help that we are losing also.
We should have never traded Boban. He was the glue that held us together

Certainly adds a bit of perspective into things when put into this sort of context. It’s easy to forget that players are people with feelings and problems sometimes, and even superstars held to almost superhuman standards are no different.
Dirk himself had to go through the Crystal Taylor thing, and he came back the next season clear-minded and ready to go. I have no doubt Luka will overcome whatever this is and get better and stronger for it.
Got to appreciate his vulnerability and honesty.
This is why having a mature person in the day to day organization is so important. To bad we don’t have any of that shit.

Beside that, Boban, Brunson, and Doe Doe were his genuine friends and we traded them away. His support structure is gone. Even like getting your mind off things and playing some fifa with Brunson or something would help, you know
