gsw is straight to the final once wiggs comes back and the entire nba should hope he doesn't.
This game is a prime example of why the NBA is dying a slow, painful death. 49 x 3PA by GSW, and 38 x 3PA by SAS. Absolutely horrible.
In the year 2000 they were having 15 x 3PA per game, now it's up 34.15 per game.
Players have been slowly getting better but too many defensive rules have forced the change in the game and it's boring to watch.
Everyone is training to be a shooter now. You have guys 7-foot and over who can shoot better than people from the 90's.
The best suggestions brought up so far are:
– Allow hand checking again to eliminate clear attempts off the dribble.
– Remove unnatural motion as a strategy to draw fouls on the perimeter.
– Remove the three foul shot rule all together, and make all free throws two from the stripe on a missed shot.
– Call illegal screens more tightly to eliminate as many free looks.
The quicker they bring back a more physical game the better 🙁
Steph is absolutely more dangerous whenever he gives up the ball.
