A bunch of easy quotes that will get spun, but yes, the media people that have to cover the Wizards probably do want to cover something different than a Beal led team not succeeding for the 4th year in a row, and want him traded.
Sounds like for the foreseeable future, we’re locked in to this, despite the media trying to manifest a trade. Even Brad sounds like he’s not planning on asking out, and it will need to be Ted that finally pulls the plug.
We’re going to be stuck at this 30 win range if we don’t just start tf over.
Personally I think Beal will be in a similar situation to Westbrook. They are good players but their contract just hurt the team they are on. If the wizards don’t make the playoffs next year, the Beal hate will be insane.
