Saying age in the NBA historically has been a good thing, Colin selectively ignores other great players. Magic won a Finals his rookie year. Larry won his second year. And then the Lakers and Celtics would win a few more throughout the 80s led by youngsters Magic and Bird.
AI, Scottie, Lebron, Wade, Kobe, KD, and Westbrook made it to the finals within 5 years of their NBA careers.
So history just doesn't support Colin's assessment. Just because MJ and Steph had to wait 9 years doesn't mean that is the "status quo" — because it is obviously not.

Sorry Colin but you're wrong far too often to take this rant seriously. Also you do realize the Lakers just had a bad game and still won? They did so by playing defense, don't play it off by acting like the TWolves just couldn't hit a shot. Did you miss all of the passing lane picks? How about how the Lakers changed their defensive strategy to adapt to the TWolves hotness not by overplaying the 3, but by making sure the lane was clogged and second chance buckets were avoided? Then when the TWolves inevitably cooled down, they had no strategy because they were relying on hotness from 3 and got out of their original sets. This is why people should watch the games. Don't fall for the out of the bunghole narratives pushed out by these clowns.
