Man had 26 points on near 50% shooting w 7 dimes and he still takes the blame for this loss. Those turnovers were brutal but him shouldering the entire loss just shows what a leader he is.

Excited to see how they respond.

I love that he pins it on himself like a real leader but its really on IQ and Thibs. Thibs needs to start Grimes and give him mire minutes because we need shooting and he’s a very good defender.

I don’t blame Brunson he can’t carry the team every single game, who I blame is HC for such a poorly coached game. You guys give thibs way too much credit, his coaching is one of biggest reasons they lost. Team only showed up for 1 quarter didn’t help matters

He was fine, RJ and quick are our jordan poole is the problem.

Nah. It’s on me. I wore a different Knicks shirt then the one I wore last series. But even more aggresious, I watched the game in a different room on a different TV. Rookie mistakes.

  6. Make or miss league and we missed our 3s. Hopefully we make them 4 of the next 6 games.

When he got that ball slapped away on the opening possession I knew the Knicks weren’t ready for this game.

The game was already pretty out of hand by the time RJ started making so many errors, yes he didn’t cope well with trying to be ball handler in the fourth but at that point the team had already suffered a complete breakdown basically

Just gotta hit threes. That was the difference today

He looked shaky all game. It took some very uncharacteristic performances and missing our all star for them to defeat us today. Come back strong in game 2.

  11. It’s tough that it’s all on Jalen but our coach really dosent coach offense at all. It’s all iso ball, and if they aren’t landing, it’s a wrap

I appreciate Brunson taking responsibility for an off night. We wouldn’t be where we are without him. I’m confident he’s going to ball out the next game.

And that’s what a true leader does. He’s the man. And it was definitely not on him.

we dont hold it against him. yes he shot badly from 3 but he was good otherwise. only qualm i had with him is that I think he let the refs get to him (culminating in that tech)

I thought Brunson was playing ok but then we went downhill when he randomly sat out half the 4th and then they just ran the offense through RJ even after he came back out. I can not for thé Life of me figure out why they didn’t let Jalen cook for the last 4 mins

It’s on the refs. The Knicks had 9 less free throws than the Heat and that too at home.
