The NBA’s L2M report said that James Harden should’ve been called for a foul for inadvertently tripping Jayson Tatum on this drive. This miss let Harden get out in transition and kick it to Maxey, who got a 3 point play that flipped the game in crunch time.

I was steaming – Tatum never gets respect on drives.

  2. Unreal shit man but the Celtics had opportunities to score later and did not execute sadly.

I remember watching this on delay and started to ffwd to get to the free throws and when the play continued a noise bleed started and I started smelling burnt toast

C’s need to not even allow the officiating to have an outcome on the game like this. Playing actual defense may help.

I was calling this missed call out post game. That was such a massive miss in a close game, especially since we had to play 4v5

  6. JaylenBrownFlow

fuck me refs continue fucking the jays

    FUCKING BULLSHIT

That was so goddamn obvious how did they miss that???

L2M report says Jayson Tatum should’ve been called for an offensive 3 second violation with 00:39.2 on the clock.

Before both of these INC, another INC was made, which was Paul Reed for a defensive 3 second violation at the 1:56 mark in the quarter.

  9. Should have won at home against the no-Embiid 6ers by at least 10 so this shouldn’t have mattered anyway.

    A 5 point swing in a 4 point game…cool.

  11. ChamBruh

I mean Tatum should’ve shot 25 free throws last night lmao

  12. They shouldn’t have been in the position where they needed that call to go right. We’re so bad in close games this year, complete opposite of last year.

Reffing was friendly to the sixers in the last few minutes, but this team deserved to lose. If only losing could teach them a lesson….

I wonder if there’s data on how teams are officiated the next game after these types of late game bad calls

  15. dart51984

Yyyyyeah the refs weren’t a problem last night, this is just lazy.

  16. Ok_Seaweed_9452

Should never been this close. Can you imagine how many more fouls and ft philly would have gotten if embiid was playing?

I’m so sick of this sub bitching about Refs. They are human, they will make mistakes. Stop with the “refs are clearly against us” or “refs hate Tatum” bullshit, we get a lot of shitty calls that help us, as does every other team. There is no agenda, we just lost, deal with it

Note this isn’t targeted at OP, but this sub in general

I do not give a fuck about the refs any longer. I expect fucking dumb calls all the time. League is geared for lotsa calls now. Celtics could’ve won the game if they had better ball handling and less high school turnovers.

Playoff James Harden will return. They also had 3 role players have the games of their lives. Along with blatant missed calls. C’s in 6

That’s all well and good, but there’s no excuse for pretending to play defense for 48 minutes, and completely shitting the bed on offense the last 5.

  21. BelichicksBurner

Doesn’t matter, they shot 60% for the game. Should have won going away. Issue isn’t missed calls, it’s bad defense and absolutely ridiculous turnovers.

We shouldn’t need FTs to win against an Embiid-less Philly team, however, this just rubs salt in the wound. Knew Tatum got fouled and that almost shot clock violation sealed this game.
