Why do teams LOSING run the clock down for the last shot? If you miss, you're done. Celtics had over 20 seconds, should have shot with something like 10-12 seconds left. If you miss, you have time for a rebound and 2nd attempt, and if opponent rebounds you foul and worst case are only down 3, which you can tie with 1 shot of your own. Running down the clock when losing is a bad strategy.
kinda dumb to stall for a last shot when you down. celtics lacks confidence that they had to make a gamble.
It’s a clutch shot but I always considered game winners last second kinda things where nobody else gets a chance after the shot. Not 18 seconds left chances for time outs and walking the ball down the court.
