So many people in this sub were pre-gloating about us losing in the playoffs just so they can drag Malone. Talking about how he’d be exposed and we were a first round exit with him leading us. Go look at some of those post game threads in late March and you’ll see these takes everywhere.
I ain’t even the dude’s biggest fan but he’s the most successful HC in team history, full stop. Only 1st seed, most playoff wins, most playoff series wins, and now he has us healthy, hosting the WCF for the first time in over 40 years.

I’ve never been a fire Malone’er…I think he is slow to adjust but sometimes that actually works in our favor. The fact is, he has created a culture in this team and a great mindset. If he can get this team to the finals, he will have shown his value.
