If the nuggets got swept in 4 close ones this would have still been the narrative right?

I get it. Lebron made windy’s career so he’s got to do some dick riding on the tail end of Lebron’s career

  2. Lake_Shore_Drive

Windhorst is just smelling LeBrons farts as hard as he can in exchange for a little access or a few clicks

I don’t have a problem with this, honestly I thought it was one of the most fun and competitive sweeps I’ve ever seen. The Lakers kept fighting, they didn’t roll over. But the Nuggets were incredibly focused and found ways to win.

  4. Fracture90000

Team that actually swept them, “yeah, they were alright i guess…”

  5. who_likes_chicken

I wish it were framed more in the context of the nuggets obviously, but I can’t honestly say the take is wrong. The total point differential in the entire series was less than 25 points right? I imagine most sweeps involve one or two blowouts

Who the fuck is this bag of burratta anyway? Has he ever touched a basketball, or a woman for that matter?

    If Nuggets got swept,

Kendrick Perkins would be talking absolute shit right now.

Dude is silent right now. He’s hoping everyone forgot.

  8. mane they lost 4 in a row, couldn’t have llayed that well, don’t forget to zip lebozos pants up when u done w him

Hey, if he wants to say the Lakers were terrific and the Nuggets swept their asses, what’s that saying about the Nuggs. Have another donut, Windy. You deserve it.

  10. Forkmealready

Lakers made each game competitive but people need to stop saying the lakers lost. No no no, the nuggets won that shit. Man I’m dick riding you guys this month as a lakers fan what the hell.

  11. Opening_Cartoonist53

This guy said, “the laker are gonna make the finals, I just can’t see any other way.”

Did anyone catch 92.5 this afternoon? They had on sports illustrated Chris Mannix and holy shit… It was comedy gold. He is the one who said that the nuggets were boring this year, and there wasn’t a compelling story. All the altitude hosts ripped him up on the air. And Vic went off on the dude. If anyone has that shit saved please share it!!!

  13. Savings-Bag7041

So by implication this was the most impressive performance by any team that’s ever swept a series. High, if indirect, praise for the Nuggies!!

  14. MarkedWard66

A friend of mine told me about this a day or two ago. Most impressive performance in a sweep ever. I said in a weird back handed way, that’s a compliment to the Nuggets. If the losers were impressive, that means the winners are even more impressive.

  15. Sarkosuchus

Just go on about how amazing Reaves was so he is priced out of returning to the Lakers. This part sounds good. The rest is cringe.

  16. krock753

ESPN is just a bitch for ratings. Laker have a TON have fans. Gotta keep ‘em happy.

  17. Corn_Beefies

Absolutely terrific at getting their asses kicked

  18. ezekielBmb

Why do you guys give any airtime to the talking heads that chat shit? Even mocking their stupid takes gives them the attention they crave and then they just churn out more bullshit.

I’m proud of my Lakers for even being close to the Nuggets level, and it was great to see them match up against the elite of the NBA. In my opinion, each game was competitive but the Nuggets fully deserved to sweep with their nearly flawless execution in crunch time. Murray/Joker is the most dynamic guard/center duo I’ve seen since Kobe/Shaq. Rooting for you guys in the Finals. Best of luck!

  19. jadlesmcdizzy

They call him windy cuz hes such a blow hard

  20. GamerRav

Considering the Nuggets were the #1 seed and the Lakers were the #7 seed…no, I don’t think that would’ve been the narrative

  21. BFever87

All the clowns 🤡 are showing their true faces

  22. KangorKodos

We literally lost in a very close 5 gane series in 2020 against the same team, at the same point in the tournament.

Not like this is a hypothetical

  23. internallylinked

Nets were also good in a sweep last year but everyone clowned them, probably because of Kyrie and KD

  24. RuthlesVillain

Look guys, I’ve been on this sub for a few months now. It’s about the best nba sub on reddit imo.

Right now, however, some of y’all are delivering a case study into how to be bad winners. Why are you still complaining? You’re in the freaking finals man. Dont spend this time moaning, fucking celebrate and enjoy it.

Rant over, downvote your hearts out. 🙂

  25. Ya_Got_GOT

AD was decent in one game and a couple of role players over performed. Lebron was an injured and tired Lebron, but still Lebron. Not sure “terrific” is the word.

  26. MarshmellowBear29

This is the saltiest sub of all time for a team on their way to the finals lol

  27. PapaStalin082201

Denver has to be the most disrespected #1 seed i’ve ever seen. never witnessed a team be this dominant in every series and still the conversations were around the teams they dominated
