  1. Billups wasn't the leader that Isiah was, that's likely why he got shipped out of town. Making excuses after series losses, doing commercials for Dan Gilbert and convincing Garnett to sign with the Celtics, dude was so laissez-faire about the competition of it all. Ben Wallace was the heart and soul of that team, and one of the few (along with Corliss Williamson maybe) who actually would've fit in with that Bad Boys squad.

Besides going Back to Back (No way would've Rasheed be allowed to do that knucklehead move he did against the Spurs in the '05 Finals, leaving Robert Horry for the winning 3-point shot) the end of the Bad Boys actually led to the Going to Work team. We haven't even come close to anything approaching either the Bad Boys or the Going to Work team since.
