Yep, that’s pretty close to it. Could switch in Sheed or LA or Cliffy at PF if you want a team better suited for the modern NBA.
Give me Rasheed Wallace. Dude was elite on both ends of the floor.
Yep, but I’ll take Sheed over Lucas for his defensive versatility and range out to the 3 point line. LA also ranks ahead of Mo Luke for me, but style wise I’m a Sheed head.
Otherwise, it’s perfect.
If we’re allowed to play them out of position I’d say:
PG: Dame SG: Roy SF: Drexler PF: LMA C: Walton
If they have to stay in positions I’d say Drexler at SG and Kersey at SF. Either one of those lineups would be amazing.
Sheed instead of Luke.
Didn’t get a chance to watch Luke play, and his stats speak for themselves, but Walton was the motor of that team, whereas Sheed was the dominant player on our Jailblazer teams that was one fourth quarter away from a championship.
Sheed had range, played two ways with absolutely dominant defense, was unselfish (too unselfish probably), and was a matchup nightmare.
Dame, Clyde, Pippen, LA, Walton
Dame, Porter, Drexler, Aldridge or Wallace, Walton is the only correct answer.
Lillard, Drexler, Uncle Cliffy, Lucas, and Walton
Anything that included Rudy Fernandez 😍
Are we assuming every player is in their prime? If so, it makes more sense to start Drexler at 2 and Pippen at 3, with Roy coming off the bench. There’s also a reasonable argument for either LA or Sheed at 4, depending on what you want out of your lineup.
Dame/Paxson/Drexler/Lucas/Walton
Roy might be better than Pax, but Pax would allow Dame to be a primary ball handler and give Walton lethal oddball shooting.
Dame, Porter, Pippen, Sheed, Sabonis.
Gotta be Dame, Roy, Clyde, Sheed, Walton.
Who’s coming off the bench?
Pippen, Steve Smith , Dame, Walton and Sabine’s!
For today’s era, give me Dame, Roy, Drexler, ‘Sheed and Walton. If you want to go small, bench Walton, slot ‘Sheed at center and bring in Uncle Cliffy.
