> League sources tell The Stein Line that the LA Clippers have left various rival teams with the impression through their Draft Week conversations that they are, at a minimum, attempting to gauge Paul George’s trade value and, to hear some describe it, giving real consideration to the idea of disassembling the Kawhi Leonard/George tandem.

> Lillard’s Trail Blazers at No. 3 in the draft and the star-searching Houston Rockets at No. 4, sources say, have been identified as potential trade partners if the Clippers decide that they indeed want to shake their roster up dramatically for the final season before the team moves to owner Steve Ballmer’s sparkly new Intuit Dome in Inglewood, Calif., for the 2024-25 campaign.

Kawhi gonna retire on LTIR and get traded to the Coyotes.

Why trade Paul George when OKC owns your picks

PG is owed about $90 million over the next 2 years and seriously seems to be on the decline. I can’t imagine you get all that much in trade

The basketball fan in me says the Clippers need to trade Kawhi and PG. I’d get whatever I could for those 2 cause they ain’t taking you anywhere. Get whatever value you can for them, because they can still get you a decent to good haul, but I wouldn’t be asking for the moon for obvious reasons.

But the Lakers fan in me is saying I hope you sign them to 5 year max extensions. 😈

That podcast episode he does post trade will be hilarious if it happens

If we’re going to give up on the Kawhi/PG duo then we really have to pray there’s a team willing to swing for the fences that also sees PG as the perfect #2 option/missing piece to become a contender. Portland makes sense because if they’re going to try and win with Dame then it’s now or never. Any other team probably won’t be willing to offer a package that the Clippers FO would accept.

FWIW I personally don’t think he’s gonna be traded.

  7. #3 and Sharpe or Simons would be an immediate yes , fleeced the Blazers for Powell and Roco maybe we can do it again

I think this is the right call, Kawhi is looked at as more of damaged goods at this point and if you can’t win a chip with the duo you might as well start salvaging for picks back

Portland the type to fuck around and give #3 and Simons for Podcast P just to fuck the Thunder’s future picks

PG is not getting traded to the Pacers, but I do think there’s a chance he’s trying to work his way back there in a few years. Ever since he started his podcast, he’s talked highly of his time in Indiana repeatedly.

Is Kawhi gonna ask out if PG (miraculously) gets traded?

I’m slightly drunk and somehow now getting emotional thinking about PG coming back

Nuggets and Lakers have it on lock. You have to assume if PG is on the trade block Kawhi is soon to follow. Might as well go a for a rebuild.
