Deserved his mvp. Teens who started watching in 2019 think otherwise

  2. This includes highlights from his recent seasons as well. You can see that some of his explosiveness is gone, but the craftiness is still there.

  3. srgntalpowell

Crazy highlight reel. The highlight of the banked game winner reminds me; it would have been wild if Chicago had pulled off that upset against the Cavs in 2015

  4. poopinmyblood

If dudes weren’t careful he was gonna leave you sitting on the floor or getting dunked on

  5. thelakeshow7

Did not have a good time watching Derek Fisher trying to guard him.

  6. HungryPercentage1667

If only someone taught him how to land properly

  7. crimsonconnect

He used to teleport to the rim it was amazing

  8. This man had the athleticism of Ja and the agility of Kyrie.

  9. hamdogthecat

Hindisght is 20/20, but looking at his old highlight reels it is obvious how often he tries to land on his feet/stay upright, no matter how awkward the landing, rather than allow himself to fall

Dude was Westbrook and Kyrie combined into one player. One of a kind talent.

  11. RoyShavRick

I hope he can come back to the bulls now that he’s a free agent

  12. FireWalkWithMe93

Saw him drop 36 against the sixers in his prime. Dude torched us. Was so fun to watch him.

  13. BNVincent

He was a better Russell Westbrook, if you could fathom that in the early 10s.

  14. LAClipShow2020

This is the Derrick we all deserved, but life had other plans.

  15. Reasonable_Fail4123

    One thing that sticks out

His crossover is one of the nastiest ever… nothing flashy, just insanely fast

  16. Itsyaboibiggyt

I was having a good day man. What a trip down memory lane. Wish this dude didn’t get injured so bad. Drose is what got me into nba when he was drafted

  17. Savings-Carpenter-79

Favorite basketball player of all time

  18. yo_viola

He was even faster in person. Just amazing to watch in the arena.

  19. warisverybad

and now everyone just shoots 34 footers

  20. hypercafspazz

Another guy like that is Baron Davis. Go find some clips of him before he hurt his knee at UCLA

  21. sayqueensbridge

D Rose 2011 MVP highlights will always be a YouTube staple

  22. Repulsive-Cupcake259

Teleportation is an underrated skill in basketball.

  23. mageking1217

Gave me some of my best basketball memories ever

  24. basedsigredma

Ngl I might actually cry for the first time when Drose retires hopefully the knicks retires his jersey too

  25. AlleghanyMcJones

bro, i just wanted to kill some time not mourn the past

  26. assistanmanager

Needed this reminder. Damn what a bummer

  27. And then Thibs said ‘hell, let’s play Derick in some garbage time…’

  28. jellystones

I’ve never seen anyone move with the explosiveness and precision of Rose

  29. Ishtastic08

His MVP season was the flashiest season I think I’ve ever seen. Highlight reel potential every time he touched the ball.

  30. LandooooXTrvls

D’Rose and those bulls were legitimate contenders to LeBron’s incredible EC dominance. It was sad to see him succumb to injuries like that.

  31. Big_Truck

Prime D Rose is legitimately one of the best players I’ve ever seen. He was unguardable for a couple years while he was at the peak of his powers. Sucks that injuries shortened his prime.

  32. What’s more amazing is he is able to come back and still put up 20 points some times. 99% of the player would have retired. Rose is a warrior!

  33. b1indsamurai

Probably the most aesthetic player of all time

    Silky smooth and explosive
