This isn’t like the Ben Simmons situation. There aren’t a lot of teams (who are trying to compete) that have 35 million in movable assets, and are willing to move them for potentially a 1 year rental or 33 year old James Harden.
I’m sure a team could come out of nowhere but it doesn’t make sense for most.
Very interesting that the clippers are clamoring for harden considering he mentally checks out faster than mostly any other star in the league and has not been consistently healthy since leaving Houston.
