[Singer] Per @JakeLFischer: Pacers could be considering a deal worth more than $20M annually for Bruce Brown. Also mentions in his latest notebook that both Tim Connelly and Arturas Karnisovas have registered some level of interest in trading for Monte Morris.

Over $20m per year holy shit. Sad he may not be staying but get fucking paid Bruce! Deserves it so much

  2. EmbraceComplexity

Holy shit Bruce just go get your money don’t be stupid lmao

  3. Llama_Sandwich

LA can’t come close to that either so we’re good.

    Get that money Bruce.

  4. FivePointsPlay

If he leaves, I only ask two things:

    1. Get PAID paid

    2. Don’t go to the fucking L*kers

Go get that bag, 👑. You’ve earned it

  5. JokAllYouWant2023

Pacers are my preferred landing spot for Bruce if it’s not Denver.

My fear for Bruce is that anywhere else won’t use him correctly and he will be seen as a bust. There’s only a couple teams that he’d produce the same as Denver and I don’t see those names on the list

  6. Status_Flux

No one can blame him if he leaves for that much, that’s like triple what we can offer at least for next year

  7. No_Pension_4276

Yeah- this actually makes sense. It probably won’t be a GREAT contract, but they need a piece to put them over the edge I think. I’d watch the Pacers and Stan them hard.

  8. BrockSmashgood

For scale, that’s more money for a season than he’s made in his career combined so far.

  9. TWAndrewz

Man, I’d love to have him back, but I sure hope he gets that bag. Would be super happy for him.

  10. Korndawgg

Most importantly, that’s sick for Bruce.

If he does get a huge contract like that, I wonder if free agents will start taking discounts to play with jokic for a year and try to raise their value going forward.

  11. MambaMentality15

If he’s getting offered that much money, he better take that bag. That’s generational money. He’s earned it, and he’s minted in Nuggets lore forever even if he’s gone.

  12. eme_pirrade

I love Colorado and I love the Nuggets, but if it’s $8M guaranteed vs $80M guaranteed, I’d choose the Pacers too.

  13. FanOk6089

If he takes the bag from the Pacers, I’m for it.
If he’s looking to win, then he stays here. Either way you can’t fault the man.

  14. MacJokic

How is the fit with the Pacers? I don’t know them that well, but don’t they have a bunch of talented guards like Haliburton, Mathurin and Nembhard? Also drafted Sheppard. And McConnell is a rotation worthy backup for them I think. Don’t they have more of a need for forwards? Feels a bit odd to me for them to throw out such a massive offer. Hope this is just speculation but if not Bruce should take it and run. Didn’t think the top end for him would be over 20 annually.

  15. SPRTMVRNN

If he’s getting offers like that what can you do? If he was only getting the non tax MLE offers then I’d love him to stay and get the same deal next year. But he’ll never get a chance at this kind of deal again.

  16. TheBatman0816

Some Pacers fans seem pretty skeptical about this amount of money but recognize their team has to spend the money

  17. OUEngineer17

This is what I’m talking about! Get that money Bruce!!!!

  18. RatLord445

Yeah thats the type of money I expected for bruce lmao

  19. shaclay346

Well if he is gonna leave I do hope it’s for 20 mil because that way he couldn’t end up on the lakers or anywhere on an MLE. But I do think if all anyone offers is an mle he should just stay here for cheaper this season and get an extension from us

  20. chasingit1

He will always receive a hero’s welcome in Denver!

  21. I would be borderline upset if he turned down >$20mil/year to come back, ngl. MLE is one thing but he deserves money, he earned it.

  22. TJ_McConnell_MVP

TC gets so locked on certain players Jesus haha

  23. Mysterious_Ship7944

If I’m following along right, that’s more money than we can offer even after next year with his early bird rights?

  24. Plenty_Peach8843

this will be another case of jokic inflation, sure BB is a great player, but teams are expecting the same output from a player that depends on the nuggets system and jokic to thrive

  25. Aggressive-Cut-227

Go Nuggets but he needs to take that.

  26. Ill say this now and we can come back to it if it happens.

NOBODY is going to pay 20m for Bruce brown.

He is a great role player, but if you spend that kind of cap space on Bruce brown, your team is going to suck.

Besides that, indiana is a small market and they never overspend, i think there is 0 chance this happens.

His market value is full mid level or a bit over, but not on the 20m range. Sadly, he is likely to end on the lakers 🙁

Its a shame the nuggets cant afford to pay him more, he was so good for their run.

  27. CatsRinternet

If they are willing to pay him $20 million per year, he needs to sign that deal.

  28. petarisawesomeo

That would be a pretty insane cap hit for the 6th man, but if this is real and not just an agent trying to artificially create a higher market, I hope he takes it. Love BB but if he doesn’t come back to Denver, I hope he gets the whole bag

  29. jayrod111

Bro. Go get that 20+ mil per season. They would give him ag least 2 years too

  30. Over 20M for Bruce? Yea man. I can’t blame him. Go get your money Bruce. We love you and you always gonna be a Nuggets legends, but the money is so massive is not even worth saying no

  31. BillyTheFifth

2 years, $45 mil. BRUCEY B(ag) getting paid! You’ll be missed!
