Brad Stevens is a loser. First, he pretends Marcus Smart and Jayson Tatum are point guards and everyone sits around and watches them fail in crunch-time for multiple years. Second, he hires a coach who has no business whatsoever being a head coach in the NBA. And third, he trades Marcus Smart and doesn't even have the decency to call him about it before the heart and soul of the Celtics for 9 years has to learn about it from Shams. And why should we be surprised? Brad had zero experience going into the job, and has traded away every single 1st round pick he's ever had the chance to use. And he's a stooge for cheap owners, as the Grant deal and trading into the 2nd round are money moves and nothing more. These bozos are wasting the J's prime years and we're going to look back and wonder how we only made one finals before they both bolted and won elsewhere. I'm 45 and only remember one championship in my lifetime. So to me, it's a failed franchise for 30 years with about 3 successful years in between and that's it. Sorry, Eastern Conference Finals Shmeastern Conference Finals. We want banners in Boston, not participation trophies.
