  1. Not to mention Wemby having zero practice with the team… that was a horrible example of Spurs basketball with an all-world prospect. Looks like those youngsters were thrown out there with a pat on the back "go get em, boys".

  2. People expecting Wemby to live up to Tim Duncan & David Robinson’s legacies as former 1 picks are setting him up for failure. Both Tim & David played 4 years of college ball & matured as young men by that point. Wemby is still 19 and needs time to properly develop.

  3. Miami Heat had a player that went for 36 fucking points against Boston that number one pick he is a bust overrated. There’s people over there in France that are talking about he can play in the NBA. I don’t know why the fuck the NBA brought here. His own French people are saying he can play in the NBA. He’s too thin.

  4. The French is saying he can play in the NBA bro what he’s going to need for years to work on this game

  5. We do not say that about young players in the defensive end. 95% of the time we say that young players who grow up being the best offensively on their teams aren’t used to the level of effort and complex defensive schemes. You don’t have to hedge with a false narrative to try to sugar coat things there’s plenty of ways to not overreact from 1 game.

  6. We are just going at the people that said he’s a better prospect then Lebron and at the minimum he has to win rookie of the year

  7. Unless he gets injured, dude is going to average more than 3.5 bpg, decent chance to average 4+. So mobile for his height. And I think Pops will find some actions that they can repeatedly spam with Wemby in midrange that will make his offense dangerous too.

Offensively he should eventually , years down the road, develop into more of a KD than an AD, which should be better for his durability as well.

  8. 3:19 the best take on last night that I’ve seen yet. I thought I was going crazy but no, it’s just the lack of practice with the summer league team and coach that really showed itself with the lack of plays they set him up with

  9. What an in depth analysis on the summer league. This is what the old media is missing. The new media dives deeper and I’m intrigued and fascinated.

  10. People responded with such disappointment because he was hyped up as the Best Prospect in the Draft Class since Lebron by Windhorse & others… If he’s supposed to be the equivalent to or better than Lebron, then it’s within reason for fans to have high expectations for him if analysts and scouts weren’t trying to generate attention for clicks then we would not have a situation where people are expecting so much from him. Maybe don’t say a prospect is the best prospect since Lebron and when the player has a poor performance they aren’t disappoint anyone they are just young players gaining experience and trying to improve their game…!!!

  11. I have a hard time believing that Wemby will be as good as projected. One of the Thompson brothers will be the Rookie of The Year 🎯. Chet can slick be the top candidate as well bc OKC is extremely underrated this year

  12. Tim Duncan play 4 year in college Pop did not need to develop him at all. But This one will need a lot of development we will see

  13. No one’s doubting that Victor will be good in the future. People are just tired of all the 🍆 riding which is going on with the media and NBA about Victor being “the greatest prospect in all of sports” All that d riding is making some fans dislike him and hope he fails.
