There’s a potential multi-team trade where Miami could trade Tyler Herro for a first-round pick and then send 3-4 first-round picks to Portland for Damian Lillard, per @ShamsCharania

Pretty much what we already know but coming directly from shams is interesting. Hoping a deal is done soon

Is this the deal that is on the table that Portland is interested in, or just speculation without confirmation if teams want this?

I was told by Boston podcasters that he has no value and Rob Williams isn’t worth letting go to add Dame 💀

  4. We’ve known about this for awhile, hopefully Shams reporting it means that we’re getting closer to a potential deal

Trade coming this afternoon don’t @ me

  6. lolvalue

Herro is worth so much more than a mid to late first, he’s going to have a big chip on those shoulders.

Shams saying it makes me think it’s close

do it so I can focus on my miami dolphins and celebrate

  9. It’s encouraging that it’s coming from Shams but where he said it is what makes me think it’s kinda irrelevant.

With how general his statement was and the fact that he said it on PMI I feel like it was just a generic answer when someone asked if Dame is coming to Miami.

If the Blazers like that and we get to keep Jovic and/or JJJ, send it in. Would be a huge W if we get to keep one or both of those guys.

For the first time I just let myself wonder “can we keep Jovic, Jaime, and Caleb??” And I hate myself for it.

man that notification gonna hit so hard bro i can’t wait

Would be a huge W if we could keep both Duncan and Martin. That’s probably our best case scenario. If we keep either Jovic or JJJ it’s a complete steal. Personally I would rather have JJJ cause it seems he’s more NBA ready but it’s a toss up.

Oh gosh, its happening… everyone CALM DOWN!

I can almost taste Damian Lillard in White Hot 🥵

Spurs and Nets are the teams to watch out for man. They got the picks. I’ve been very big on the Spurs and Pop signing that contract is a clearer indicator. He would love to work with a good talent like Herro at Guard.

Jovic isn’t going to be playing next season. Was just watching summer league highlights and although he shows incredible offensive promise he’s getting totally worked by summer league players on defense. No way he’s out there significant time in the playoffs for this team, although in the future he might be amazing. He makes more sense for Portland than for us, assuming they value him.

I would love him as a long term partner for Bam too but if we get Dame then it’s winning time right now and he’s not going to see the floor.

  18. There’s been literally no new information since day 1 and they just keep repackaging it into new tweets

  19. Bruh my heart is racing hopefully this trade happens this week

  20. GringoMambi

Honestly Portland would be fucking up if they really prefer an unproven draft pick than 2022 6MOY

  21. Bigben1887

When a team is reliant on his scoring he’s going to jump from 20ppg to 25+. No fount in my mind.

  22. So this deal is done and now someone is just haggling

Portland GM and fans overvalue what they have. The fans want like 8-10 assets for Lillard. Or they look at what much younger stars returned or that ridiculous Gobert trade fetched that everyone thought was stupid.

Cronin’s inability to make other moves indicates to me that he always wants too much for what he has. Ever play fantasy sports and some guy never trades cause he wants everything for one guy? That’s Cronin. Now he’s acted too tough in public and doesn’t want to look like a chump by giving in.

Riley on the other hand wasted no time in dumping Beasley for 2 2nd round picks to make room for Mike Miller. Cronin would have wanted multiple firsts and a young promising player back.

Lillard isn’t worth all this fr. If I was the heat organization I would literally just say keep your dame we don’t need him we just made it to the finals without him and the only thing we lacked was size. fr last thing we need is an undersized guard that can’t play defense.
