Two things … does anyone remember Mariota's response when the media was coming down hard on Tannehill about his attitude about helping develop Willis? Look it up if you don't remember. And 2nd thing is I believe Arthur Smith told him he'll never start another game for him even if Johnny Manziel was the only other QB available.

Imagine if (God forbid I don’t want anyone injured) but if Jalen Hurts got injured half way through the season and Mariota had to take over as QB1. On a REAL TEAM, with real receivers and a real offensive line and A REAL HEAD COACH! Falcons fans are depressed again during playoff time while Mariota is marching his football team to the Super Bowl. Very very possible scenario.
