If he isn't in the G-league then he will have to earn his minutes with 3&D play. I don't think they will trade Tate – he is that "good soldier" that will sit on the bench without complaining. Maybe you send Cam to G-league until someone gets injured. Cam is so young and obviously loaded with talent – hard to tell what you should do with him. Maybe you just designate Tari as the back-up 4 and Cam can be the back-up 3. Maybe you can do a 5 man mass-substitution and recreate the goon squad with Landale, Tari, Cam, Amen, & KPJ. That's a pretty good squad.
Look Tate isn’t bad objectively, but what he brings to the table is not what we need. He doesn’t space the floor near as much as Dillon Brooks. As long as he is on the floor that will be an issue.
