It’s not talked about enough in the NBA, but there is there’s an anti-Euro bias on some level when compared w/the domestic players. They don’t run in the same circles or have the same relationships. SA, with its reliance/preference for Euro players, has always taken a little backlash from that. If you look at the history over the last 25 years w/Spurs players, the best domestic guys didn’t want to stay—Kawhi wanted out, LMA made 2 trade requests, DeMar said he was shackled after he left. From that perspective, SA is probably better off targeting Euros, since they don’t seem to balk at small markets the same way; you could argue If it weren’t for the Euro/overseas AS players, small markets all over (Mil/Den/Sac) & of course, SA, would all be in dire straits.
God you guys have no idea. Wesley is not going to be in Austin so people we have no long term plans on like Payne and Devonte play minutes. You don’t get what the spurs are doing. As if Sir Jabari will play above Wesley
