I don’t understand the booing, sure Beal wasn’t a good number one option but he was the second most important player during the most successful era of DC basketball during the century. He was also a very charitable community man.
People won’t understand how dope Brad was until we experience a year of Poole and Kuz. (I’m still betting we actually make the play in)
People are stupid. There’s absolutely no reason to boo Beal. The guy did a ton of work in the community and for the most part was a damn good basketball player here. Ted and Tommy offered him the contract and for what it’s worth, he wanted to win here and stuck around when other guys would’ve asked to be dealt. Even up to the point he got traded he didn’t really want to be. Just a silly reaction to a guy who gave it all he had here.
