I have to wonder if seeing Jokic’s path to the championship did something.
Prior to 2020, Jokic was “out of shape”. He slimmed down and became downright dominate winning the MVP in 2021 and 2022 before winning it all in 2023. Of course a healthy Murray helps too but the formula is there.
If Kyrie is bought in, this team could be a strong top 5 contender. Get a solid starting C at the deadline and it’s possibly a top 3 teams.
