I’m not the biggest Herro fan, but the hate towards him has to stop. First reaves is better than him not Bridges? If Herro was on team USA he would have a far greater impact than bridges. Bridges a great defender and high IQ player, but is not the weapon Herro is. Please stop

1. if a mediocre player moves into a tanking team, he‘ll flourish and show everyone what he got.
2. If Herro moves to a tanking team and be the main/first scoring option he would be smothered and his stats would be even worse than on Miami.
The rules and pronciples seem to always change when it‘s Herro. I don‘t care, I don‘t mind keeping him tbh.
It literally does not matter
Herro’s worst offensive traits are his isolation scoring and his passing efficiency. Those two things are beating his ass in the “playmaking” conversations people keep having.
His defense has improved in the low activity help defender role. Both the eye test and stats will tell you that. He held his own more often when hunted last year. He’s not a world beater but it’s significant enough of a change that it’s quantitative and impactful.
But he’s also one of the best pnr creators his age, a better pnr creator than a good amount of guys in the league and a very clearly a pnr creator as good as if not equal to Anfernee Simons, who’s only a bit better in isolation. The people making these comments don’t really look at his stats or watch him play. This shits getting soooo tired. Just because he doesn’t have the skills we lack in this particular instance (rim pressure) doesn’t make him bad.
Bridges is better than him easily. Like it’s not even a contest.

Why do you think he’d have more impact than Bridges? Also, take into context he could have been invited over Bridges and wasn’t.
Also the three main coaches for team USA are Kerr, Spoelstra and Lue. Those are the people who didn’t invite him.
