I want to forgive him but I’m just not there yet

thank you for clarifying by repeating the exact same thing
“no no no guys, don’t get it twisted – I *love* Minnesota – I’m just saying that playing for a big market team is way better than playing for a small market team”

Everyone has a podcast now….
Pat Bev acting like he knows how markets affect media attention is only applicable to him cause he’s a bench player

Love pat bev no matter what
Sam7sung
I understand what Pat is trying to say. Ant should get more national TV games than we currently have and I think the Wolves are the reason why he isn’t getting more.
I don’t agree with the delivery though. It could’ve been better

I think I recall Jon K saying that MN is actually an above average size market in the league anyway
My loyalty is to the Wolves, not Pat Bev. He’s an instigator on the court, which is helpful at times, but it’s all bullshit off the court. He’s bounced around all over the NBA, he doesn’t understand loyalty, never given the chance I suppose.

The faces of football play in Kansas City and Cincinnati! Those are not a big markets. Needing a big market to be famous is an outdated argument. I stole this argument from Flagrant howls.

He told him playin champ lmao, who is this guy, I like him, he has balls, also called him out on why people were mad with him.
KickerofTale
Dude went from being a Mayoral candidate favorite to bum, pretty quick.
Still love Pat Bev and I understand what he’s “trying” to say, but it’s on the NBA to market their players, not for the player to go to a market to be “seen”.

No other sport has this kinda crap discourse about a player who signed a max extension that doesn’t start for another year.

He knew what he said and how it would be taken. It’s not like this was some sort of misunderstanding he started the conversation that always happens whenever anyone that is talented is anywhere but LA and NY.
Don’t be turning this back on us
Minute-Decent
He still doesn’t get it lol
Appeal and being seen comes with success, not just being big market. Perhaps market matters more for role players but if Ant becomes a superstar he IS the market.
smh Pat Bev needs to read Jon’s article
shrinkray21
I love Pat Bev, but his abrasive attitude is both good and bad – that’s the point. I think he’s wrong (I’m obviously biased), but this doesn’t change my opinion about him.
I will say though – Pat Bev standing on the table doesn’t prove his loyalty to me. I always thought that was way more about Pat Bev than about Minnesota. The way he played that season showed a ton of heart, but that moment always seemed to be about him.

Yeah, he loves the City of Minnesota, guys!
