[Jacob] Dillon Brooks on Noah shooting analytics at OVO helping with his shot: “In Toronto they got this machine that helps you with your arc and I just had that number in my head every single time.”

Glad it worked for him. Didn’t seem to help our shooters shoot last season tho. Hopefully it will work wonders with Gradey.

Come home Dillon. (After your 4 year contract you just signed)

Brooks coming up clutch for the national team and then recruiting for the Raptors.
Retire his jersey at OVO centre.

Unfortunately, it has not seemed to help the Raps. I’ve lost count of the supposedly good (great?) shooters that have come to the Raps and lost their touch.

No shooting machine, shooting coach, or shooting potion is going to help if guys are playing selfishly and not making the pass, often, and quickly. If the team starts playing basketball the right way, we will see averages tick up.

How come this doesn’t work with the rest of the Raptor’s roster

The most asinine argument of last season was that our technology was hurting our game
Naw, that was selfishness and creating for self over others and the entire team was guilty of it.

That machine is there to hone players muscle memory and body control. Not all players are created equal in that regard. Just think Stanley Johnson vs Kawhi Leonard. That “machine” is their to help fine tune that. Some players it can help more than others, because they have enough body control to move decimal points on the digital board. Just IMO with the other comments saying it didnt pay off for Raptors. I can see Dillon getting use out of it. The guy has great body control, you can tell by the way he’s able to shoot thru contact and still make it a close shot.

Lmao we 100% got it for Boucher a couple of seasons ago his arc is funky
