He’s finally gone
Those first few weeks of 2017 Nurk were something else. I know I was cured of my fever after this season, but I hope this dude and his cats have a great time in Arizona.
“I wish those guys a happy summer” knocking the nugs out on career highs, is still one of the coldest lines I’ve heard.

It was definitely a rough time, but there were undeniably great moments of the Bosnian beast.

I’m gonna miss him for sure. He was lowkey my favorite blazer to root for, and I think got a ton of unfair criticism from fans who didn’t necessarily see his contributions.
And though the lows were low, I’ll never forget the highs. The 5×5 game. The game winner against the Celtics. Nurk fever. I’m definitely wishing him the best in Phoenix.
Gonna miss the Nurk Fever days. Hopefully he does well in Phoenix.

Imma miss Nurk too, I had more hope in him cause I knew he could be better especially pre-injury, felt like he can be a top 10 big, and I’m confident to say he’s probably suffered so many setbacks post-injury probably beyond just the injuries. His highs were very fucking high and his lows were indeed rough. I wish him the best and he’s got a great opportunity. Hate that it’s Phoenix but everyone knows a healthy, motivated Nurk is dangerous, especially if his 3 continues to develop

Even though last few seasons were rough he was such an important part of the team for years. Can’t hold a grudge, but am happy new chapter is here
My only consolation is that I currently live in Phoenix so I’ll probably be seeing even more of him.

Dame sealed my love for the Blazers after getting into the team at the end of Roy’s career. Nurk brought my wife into the fold. Real end of an era but looking forward to the future.
