[Krawczynski] Jaden McDaniels will not play tonight against New York because of a minor left calf strain that has kept him out practice this week, team sources tell @TheAthletic . He will be re-evaluated in a week and a half.

   I really hate calf strains! Hope he’s healthy for the opener. I just want to see this damn team get a chance to play together at full strength. Is that too much to ask?

   A week and half sounds makes it sound bad but when you consider that we play one more preseason game (in 5 days) it makes sense to just keep him off the court until the start of the season so he’s fully healthy

   Hopefully it is minor, and just a few weeks injury. If this is anything like little JMac’s or Towns injury we won’t see him for 2-4 months.
