With our current coach being a defensive-minded coach, and with a couple of these clips featuring a previous Wizard making correct plays on defense, it’s a great primer and education on things teams are trying to do defensively, and a fantastic example of how [“NBA defense now is less about tools and physical gifts and things like that than it used to be, and more about like, 5 guys being in sync. The Wizards won’t have much continuity going into the start of this season, and so we’re probably going to get exploited pretty bad as the guys learn to play together. But again, this is a good video to learn what NBA teams are trying to do playing defense together. Great point of reference. Fun to watch!
