Love timelord but KP is a massive upgrade to him. Imagine a guy that has timelord defensive capabilities while also being able to contribute on offense inside and out. gotta trust big brain brad
This man has unlocked the Celtics full potential I believe. He will take off so much of that scoring pressure off JT and JB and he can just flat out shoot the ball. This team is going to be special once they figure everything out throughout this long season.
imo at this point he's the 2nd best player on this team. our best bet in crunch time will be a JT/KP PNR that KP can turn to a pick and pop or roil into a post-up or short roll middy.
Staying healthy for the play-offs is a key for me. We need him the most when it matters the most. He can play 40 games in RS in a bubble wrap π

His life has never been easier than it is on this team offensively. We are getting the best version of a really good and efficient player who also has no real pressure and it looks amazing. Not to mention he's been great on defense

To put in perspective last year kp shot 40 percent and only got 19 percent open shots. Horford, smart, and brogdon shot 35 percent of their shots wide open. Kp is bout to have a massive uptick in his shooting.
What a 4th option to have.

My god, Pingus tingis on the Celtics might be a monster combination
Heβs just super efficient. No wasted motion, just aim and shoot, cut to the hoop, or swing the ball. They needed his kind of decisiveness in their offense. Heβs the ultimate outlet for Brown, and Tatum. Big man who can shoot from anywhere, and also a lob threat.

I think… If we have the #1 seed going into All-star break… I could see us having 3 allstars maybe 4. And you know who they are!
It's not the same, and yet this gives me the vibe of Garnett coming to Boston and suddenly being surrounded by guys who fit his game better and just made it easier for him to do his thing.
If this guy stays healthy he can easly be the best player on C he can average 20+pts and get 10 rebounds per game not to mention 1 or 2 blocks
