A very frustrating loss, this type of matchup will happen a lot this season, what happens when the 2nd unit offence just doesn’t click.
2nd unit was nasty stuff offensively. When their shorts don’t fall, CP’s own offensive struggles really exposes itself and he becomes a non-factor. His worst performance this season.
And both our rooks shouldn’t go down to Santa Cruz anymore, they are both ready to contribute.
The Cavs are way too big for us to play super small. Klay on Mobley is not it. We’re due for a stinker anyways.
What’s up with the call difference though? It’s amazing how teams on the other end always play picture perfect defense against us for some miraculous reason when we go to the paint. One small pinky touch from us and it’s 2 free throws.
Wiggins playing like he’s on fentanyl bruh
Big teams are still our weakness, go figure
Warriors record when shooting under 40%: 0-2
Warriors record when shooting over 40%: 5-0
Also anytime you see a funky betting line expect a weird game, Vegas knows its shit
EDIT: oh Kogut was reffing, no wonder this game looked familiar lmao, that dude hates the Warriors
Trayce was great tonight. Small ball lineup was not the smartest move down the stretch lol
Sorry, my fault. I was talking to my BIL about how good we’ve been today.
Steph before this game was averaging 4 assists to 3 TOs. Another 6 tonight he figures out what he’s doing on ball and stops dribbling off his leg or throwing ridiculous passes we’ll be aight
Wiggins should probably rest tomorrow, he doesn’t even look close to 80%. Let Cade for Gp2/Kuminga.
This team has some clear issues and I don’t think size( most alluded to) is in the top 3.
-Rim pressure is huge. Steph was hot from 3 and Dray had a good scoring game and still it wasn’t close to enough production. We barely get to the line either. Desperately need Kuminga to be more consistent and not be asleep his first 5 minutes EVERYTIME. And Wiggins to look like Wiggins.
-Full bench lineups look really good defensively, and there’s been some moments offensively when CP3 can cook in the P&R. But the lack of spacing and scoring punch is huge. Klay probably should play more with the bench, GP2 and Moody can be as valuable if not more with the starters.
Please more minutes for the rooks. Both have a positive impact every time they step on the court, even if they look lost. Especially TJD looked completely lost playing with Steph, better with CP3. I hope Podziemski finds his shot because it would open up a lot of stuff from him. His handle ain’t great but his vision and decision making attacking closeouts is.
I’ve never felt so okay after a Dubs L
That is a schedule loss if I ever saw one. 6 games in 9 days all in different states come on.
Too many missed layups, FTs, rebounds & defensive assignments + Kerr’s weird lineups + ATROCIOUS shooting = automatic L
Deja vu.
guys we lost one road game 😭 lmao. we weren’t gonna win every single game sucks it’s against cavs though but oh well adjust .. play them again Saturday hopefully win that one. For how big the cavs team are we stayed really closed cavs just wanted it more it’s there first home game win this season. on too pistons ..
Onto the next one
Everyone was a minus except our two rookies.Lets not get upset and move on to the next game.
Wiggins have to step up offensively.
That 2nd quarter was so disgusting. I believe the bench went 0-13 and scoreless for nearly 9 minutes, never recovered from that.. whistles were pretty shit but doesn’t matter after playing like that
Steph sat for so much, felt like he didn’t even wanna play this game
Kerr played the rookies so much for some reason
probably the first game where the bench unit looked awful so far, feel like we need to get moody more involved. also cp3’s shot making this season isn’t looking so hot rn.
can’t win them all, hopefully we don’t fumble against detroit tomorrow

All around bad performance. They didn’t lose because of one person. The vets to me have not played one amazing game all together yet.The bench cant save you everygame but even with the missed shots. They gave you a chance. On to the next game.(wiggins I have my eye on you buddy.Because wtf is that smell.)
saric can’t have 0 points to in 13 minutes. wiggins can’t have 8pts. and we can’t leave 10 pts at the line.
all good. we ARE going to lose games sometimes. bounce back tomorrow.
I don’t know how many layups and dunks we gave up by not boxing out, but it was a lot
I know y’all are gonna go all doomer but sometimes it’s just not our night
Still not sure what’s up with Wiggins honestly. He appeared to be mentally checked out.
Was it a frustrating game to watch? Without a doubt. But it was our second loss and none of the issues on our end (ie not accounting for Marat Kogut) are anything we don’t have the power to fix and haven’t already shown this season we’re more than capable of correcting. If anything, this game might be the good kind of reminder for them that no matter how good we look so far, we can’t get complacent in the aspects of the game we have within our control every night. Aside from rebounding and our need to correct how we’re attending to transition defense, the style of play from our bench the last two games has stuck out to me the most. It’s been very different from the first 4 games – less CP controlling the game and way more aimless ISOing. I trust Steve, CP, & co. to get it back on track but it’s been weird to watch to say the least.
Just need to get the game tomorrow. Very important. Not likely to win in Denver on the last game of a long roadtrip.
Tough game, kind of the opposite outlier as last game: rather than a really hot opponent, their offense was anemic tonight. I think I saw they had like 18 points in the paint around the end of the game, that’s just not going to cut it.
* Since when was Dray this much of a scorer and shooter? What is this, 2016?
* I was going to say that Kuminga still hasn’t fully figured out his offensive game yet, but apparently that only applies to the first half. Regardless, it’s a big positive that even at his floor he’s solid enough on offense and overwhelmingly positive enough on defense to maintain a significant role off the bench.
* Love that the rookies got some run and were productive, yet another example of our depth this year.
* Podz has a ridiculous nose for rebounds. It seemed like literally every time a board was even remotely contested, Podz was at the center of it.
* TJD always seems to be at the right place at the right time, on both ends — the guy just gets it.
We’re still fine, our schedule has been less than ideal lately and we’re still 5-2. Now if we lose to the Pistons tomorrow I’ll be concerned. Steph needs to stop turning the ball over and CP needs to get his shot together
On the plus side; good shooting from steph, and wtf draymond is actually scoring now!?
The truth is that Wiggins deserves a lot of the blame for the poor finish to last year but flew under the radar with Poole and Klay getting the majority of criticism. He was not even close to good enough right now. He is back to the worst of Minnesota Wiggins.
