  1. Marcus Smart, we the fans still love you. Please consider signing back here in free agency. I will be a little heartbroken if they win a ring and you aren't there to talk shit at the parade.

  2. My favorite memory is the double drawn offensive foul on Harden and the look on Chris Paul's face from the bench just looking bewildered. That night when they went down 20 something early I decided to take a walk in line 0 degree weather. I got back frozen but refreshed and looked at the TV and they were close with a few minutes left. The excitement from the 2 charges warmed me right up.

My second favorite memory was Tatum's first year in the playoffs vs the bucks, Celtics went up 2-0 then tied 2-2 back in Milwaukee. Smart was injured either the whole 4 games or most of them, yeah, no, he tweaked something around when Kyrie did in like March and missed some time, that's why Rozier was shining cuz there was no Smart and no Kyrie. So after game 4 I listen to the locked on bucks podcast and their hosts were like "the bucks figured it out, Giannis is too much, they win in 6, blah blah blah, what can the Celtics do to change it, their too injured to fix it" like you expect after a big win, and then one host goes "well Marcus Smart is expected back for game 5, that's a change" and the other host flat out said "Smart can't do anything, he is to small to guard Giannis and Giannis figured out Ojeleye so he'll figure out Smart." Right then I said to myself "just wait stupid podcast guy, Smart is back."

Game 5 rolls around, Smart comes to the table to check in. He gets a roaring ovation. Almost immediately he strips Giannis at half court for an easy score. Late game Smart gets that timely block were Giannis comes in baseline ready to slam the ball in, but Smart sprung up straight and got 150% all ball for the monstrous block. Celtics go on to win the game and the series. I couldn't help but think of the guy so confidently brushing off Smart only got him to come in and Marcus Smart up the game immediately. It was awesome. That team was really fun, probably the best season to watch as a fan, even in California the Celtics were the fan favorite do in the playoffs that year because of their youth and doing it after losing Kyrie and Hayward.

I have a million other memories from Smart, but those 2 are the ones that jump out at me and were easily the best.

  3. He doesn't seem to be particularly intelligent. He says he didn't like Marcus at first but never explains why. And that "Neismith" shoes episode, the protesters outside the Barclays Center episode… Not a very clever young man.

  4. I hope he sit today so tatum can finally have a tatum game. Dude hasn't even scored 40 once this year. His stats fell off a cliff. Got guys like Maxey getting 50 and he can't even break 34. He's Digressing.
