Damian Lillard drops 40, powering the Bucks to a 132-119 victory over the Spurs

The Milwaukee Bucks extended their win streak to five after defeating the Victor Wembanyama-less Spurs, 132-119. Damian Lillard scored a season-high 40 points, pushing his career points total over 20,000 while Giannis Antetokounmpo finished the game with a triple-double.

The Bucks are one of three NBA teams with 20 wins — are they rounding into form? How large of a role has Bobby Portis played during this win streak? Any surprises from the Bucks wing rotation with the return of Malik Beasley? Camille and Frank discuss all of this, and more, on today’s episode.

  1. Glad to be logged in to here your take on another fun win. Camille & Frank loving your takes and insights…even if I miss the Aussie accent. Stay awesome!

  2. Hey, Big Shot Bobby, make Frank a believer. I want to see you rocking it to mean reverse into Mayor of Milwaukee form.:) While Giannis is scrapping records, might as well beat hat 20 game in a row streak too.:)

  3. I think its time to move on from Marjon, hes still playin like last year, 0 improvements. Hes consistently inconsistent and always shaky everytime he has the ball.. I honestly lost my trust in marjon.

  4. The narrative is gonna have to change we've blown 3 teams out. Recently. I' think a double-digit victory is considered a blowout. I'm not sure the competition is not Hella great, but that was the narrative. The games are too close. PS Dame is starting to get his legs under him, which is his basketball legs. And bobby is backing up his mouth with his play on the floor But I have to see this against top competition before I buy it I'm referring to the celtics

  5. Unfortunately I think its time to move on from Marjon. He has shown flashes here and there but something is missing. When I watch Ajax play for instance, I can see a path forward with him although he's still very raw. Marjon doesn't have that and now with his minutes dwindling he can't really improve. Might be better to move him now for some perimeter defense.

  6. Can somebody tell somebody that knows somebody that we need much more Dave with Marques announcing games on T.V. and much less to no more of everybody else

  7. I wasn't concerned about the D when the Rockets dropped 119. This time it did worry me a lot. From the 2nd Quarter on, it seemed they scored so easily in the paint. 119 with only 9 for 30 from 3 ?? Rockets shot 43% from 3.

  8. Hi Camille! ❤ Been watching since 2018 and you’re hands down my favorite host. Never leave us please 🙏🏾

  9. 1) the defense really worries me still. Spurs had 3 points the first 6 minutes of the game and finished with 119. Removing that stretch, the spurs without Wemby played at a 133 ppg pace. That is not okay. I get we weren’t trying but even the “not trying” bucks should be able to hold a depleted spurs team to 105 points.

    2) Despite seeing upside in marjon, I am definitely open to trading him. If we can swing a guy like Caruso, OG, or some sort of perimeter defender I would be fine letting go of marjon. The difficult part is we would likely have to trade Bobby/pat which I really don’t like. If we had to choose 1 I’d rather keep Bobby. But I have no idea what capital/salaries we would need to give up so maybe none of what I’m saying would even work. Not that I don’t think marjon is valuable, but we are in win NOW mode and if he is a valuable trade asset I think you make the move
