The NBA Has Never Seen ANYTHING LIKE Nikola Jokic
Forget everything you thought you knew about basketball because there’s one player who’s rewriting the entire script of NBA dominance think Tim Duncan Dirk Nowitzki Larry Bird AE malaan and avidus sabonis all rode into one with a Twist Nikola yic is a basketball anomaly a oneof one in the history of the NBA a
Colossal figure who despite being the slowest and least explosive on the court holds the game in the palm of his hand his vision and hand eye coordination are superpowers that defy the laws of basketball physics as weed eyes ECT the unparalleled prowess of Nikola yish you’ll come to understand that sometimes
It’s not about the speed or the flashiness it’s about the Strategic genius who moves the chess pieces on the court with finesse this leaves even the deeply crafted defensive game plans and shambles the Silent Assassin you won’t find yage in flashy commercials or chasing the spotlight no he’s the guy
Who punches in does his work and then heads home but don’t let the low-key demeanor fool you behind those unassuming guys lies a basketball Savant unlike k anything the NBA has ever seen But sets him apart isn’t just his towering presence on the court but his unparalleled skill set a sharp shooting
Big man who doubles as a phenomenal passer and post up player Larry Bird adds some of these skills but he wasn’t a center making jokic’s combination even more extraordinary it’s about dictating the flow of the game and joic does it all well two MVPs in a championship later joic is still stream rolling
Through defenses teams throw everything they’ve got at him yet he remains unfaced carving up opponents with surgical precision centers in the past were confined to the paint rarely attempting shots outside the Joker on the other hand breaks the mode the game has evolved and so has the role of the
Center he is the playmaker from the elbow to the perimeter orchestrating the offense with finesse best passer is Niko gets the best passer the NBA has ever seen he might just be the best passer the NBA has ever witnessed it’s not just a bold claim it’s a highly doable
Argument in basketball we’ve often Associated Elite passing with shorter players the best ball handlers are usually shorter players players they can protect the ball better move dynamically and find those tight spaces with ease but here is where yic flips the script Standing Tall he challenges the norm showcasing that being taller brings its
Own set of passing advantages the height and the wingspan open up a world of passing angles that shorter players can’t access traditionally players like Magic Johnson and Jason kid set the bar for passing Excellence what made them extraordinary was the combination of their skill set with towering height
They saw passing Lanes others couldn’t and executed plays that even the likes of Steve Nash could only dream of even Kevin Durant waiting call him a great passer a great big man he’s just a great basketball player yogic transcends labels defying traditional position constraints with his versatile skill set
In a league filled with Incredible passers and towering Giants yogic stands alone as a rare breed his ball handling prowess combined with his other worldly vision and height redefine what it means to be a playmaker in the NBA we may never witness another player quite like
Yic a master of his craft rewriting the history books one assist at a time the humble Giant imagine winning your first NBA title and not cracking a smile that’s Nikola yic for you the humblest guy in the league healing from Serbia this Center has more love for horse racing than winning championships his
Stoic sense of humor has won the hearts of millions despite immense popularity he remains laidback embodying a unique brand of humility his journey in the league has transformed him into one of the finest Sinners he’s not the flashy dunker or the loud Superstar but his impact on the court is undeniable in the
Words of Kevin Garnett I’ve never seen a player who’s won the NBA Championship and was dormant he was went to his daughter he was off but perhaps the most telling moment came during the NBA Finals Victory Parade announcement instead of Basking in the glory jokic’s reaction was unexpected when I asked
About the parade his response wasn’t excitement but disappointment the parade coincided with his need to go home so I’m curious what you are feeling right now and if you’re looking forward to a parade coming up in Denver many parade when is parade Thursday no I need to go home home okay
Uh I mean MVP let’s get one thing straight yage couldn’t care less about winning the MVP he’s made that abundantly clear Shing up the hype surrounding the award but here’s the kicker despite his nonchalant attitude he’s once again lapping the field in the MVP race after clenching the NBA title
Concerns loomed about yok’s drive and determination but the Joker is picked up right where he left off reminding everyone why he is considered the best basketball player on the planet sure we’re mid through the season numbers May fluctuate contenders may rise and fall but one thing remains certain yic is a
Force sure there’s stiff competition out there jool embiid shy gilgas Alexander and Luka donic are all gunning for the MVP Crown but yic track record speaks for itself he’s been the epitome of consistency the beacon of Excellence for the past three seasons and if he stays
Healthy it’s his award to lose the Y get effect but he is that type of player he is that type of player that he can make the bounce pass he can go high low they can run pick and rolls for him so they’ll run a one five pick and roll
I’ve seen them run a 55 pick and roll with him and Plumley yoga’s unparalleled passing prowess has sparked the Renaissance in how teams approach offense suddenly the center position isn’t about Rim protection and rebounds it’s about orchestrating the entire offense from the paint players like damont sabonis and alarin shenon are
Following suit they showcase their Elite passing skills and challenge traditional Notions of what a center should be for a while it seemed like the traditional cers were becoming relics of the past but yoga’s success has breathed new life into the position yoga’s success with the Nuggets has given other teams a
Blueprint the center position once thought to be fading away is experiencing a Resurgence teams are opting for skilled bigs even pairing them up in a nod to the evolving size Dynamics yage has not only changed the game for himself but has become a catalyst for a League wide shift the era
Of undersized Sinners Like draym Green is ending is being replaced by a Resurgence of skilled bigs directly reflecting yices in influence on the game he may not be in the same breath as alltime greats like Magic Johnson Larry Bird Shaquille O’Neal or Stephen Curry just yet however he’s forcing the game
To evolve a common trait among the basketball Legends his prime years are still ahead of him but the question remains where does joic stand in NBA history could he catch up to a giant like Tim Duncan in the alltime rankings matching Tim Duncan’s five championships three finals MVPs and 15 all defensive
Team selections yet yic has his own set of Milestones to chase these include back-to-back champion ships and leading the league in assists the conversation comparing yic to Duncan might be premature but it’s a narrative worth keeping an eye on and while both yic and Dirk have left an indelible mark on the
Game the question again is has yic matched the peak years of Dirk novinsky Dirk captured an MVP award in 2007 and cemented his legacy with the championship in 2011 his Peak was a sight to behold defined by clutch performances and unparalleled skill fast forward to yic who boasts two MVPs in a
Championship ring he showcases is some of the most all inspiring statistical seasons in NBA history it’s fair to argue that yoga Peak might surpass Dirks in terms of sheer dominance but here’s the kicker longevity Dirk played until he was 40 yic on the other hand is still
Pinning his legacy the future holds a myriad of possibilities he might retire after his next contract or continue to divy age and expectations with the prolonged career his success isn’t contingent on Extreme athleticism opening doors to a multitude of Pathways looking Beyond Dirk yach’s journey is reminiscent of the Giants of the
Industry these include kareim Abdul Jabar Bill Russell B Chamberlain Shaquille O’Neal and aim alijan these are the Titans the pillars upon which the Game Stands Tall yog’s inclusion in this Pantheon isn’t far-fetched this is especially true considering the accolades and recognition he’s garnered he’s even earned a nod from Shaq himself
As we project yach’s future it’s crucial to acknowledge the nonlinear nature of life and careers while yic is on a remarkable trajectory prematurely placing him among the all-time greats might be a mistake the NBA history is Rich with unexpected turns and surprises every NBA franchise boasts a defining play

Jokic has proven that even without any all stars and no other top tier scorer (no other nuggets is over 15 ppg), if you have Jokic then you will have a 45-50 win season. This is nuts. This is not normal at all.
Nikola Jokic is by far the best basketball player in history and I’m even a heat fan. I’m just being honest in my personal opinion.
Trevion Williams playing style is very similar to Jokic's. He went undrafted in the '22 draft and currently plays overseas.
Swear to god I heard "Nigga la Jokic"
nice video bro ! love you bro ! love you !
They asked Jokic who his idol in basketball was ….he is smiled and said ….Joker
3 words….LARRY JOE BIRD
Lovely, but why repeat actions?
Dirk who? What a joke comparison.
Najbolji svih vremena
A Savant of the modern game!
Time will tell! Go go go Jokic!
I think people (not necessarily the host of this video) often underplay Jokic's athletic ability to praise his mental acumen. Dude is big, tall, and strong and very clearly a good athlete.
The Serbians hold the Tennis world record, and now they hold the world Basketball record. They seem to have the right DNA for the sports. Tesla was a Serbian as well.
You should put some three points he scored, you showed him only as a standard passer and center. And he is everything, he can be a playmaker, he can shoot from 2 meters, 3, 5, from the 3 point distance. He can do everything he wants.
It's a common mistake that he's slow, when he actually outruns many centers like AD who are consider athletic
He's the best player in the league right now
Jokicccc💪🇷🇸💪🇷🇸💪🇷🇸💪
He is amazing but will stay w # 23!
If you go by 2 seperate metrics individually you see that Jokic is easily past Dirk already. and is in fact on trajectory to become THE GOAT.. Jokic is the ONLY NBA player in NBA History to have a career playoff average of 27, 12, 7. Jokic is also #1 in career Box Plus/Minus at 9.83. If you do some digging you find out some crazy things like Jokic not only has the only 27/12/7 average but also the only player to ever average 25/10/5, 26/10/5, 26/11/5 and so on in a playoff career. He just put up the most points rebounds assists in a single post season in nba history we all just watched that… and he only played 20 of a possible 28 games to do that. He’s a Mt Rushmore of Basketball kinda talent
yes they have. his name was BIRD. the GOAT. recognize
i told u Tyson Furry clown going to pull out of fight….its disgrace for nba boxing community and fans
Jokic never seems to make a wrong decision, it's uncanny. It's as if he was being granted more time to think. It also feels like he has eyes in the back of his head when he's passing. (That this is not actually the case can be seen in the fact that he does get the ball stolen from behind sometimes)
You won’t see him placing an imaginary crown on his head either. He is so much better than Lebron, but you won’t hear him telling the world that he is the greatest
We actually have seen this in the NBA before, and the comparison is flattering for all parties, but problematic nonetheless.
He is not slow. He just looks slow. The 1st play of this video shows.
Strange ending of the video, think you might have uploaded a "work in progress" file.
Also, a constructive tip, talk 2-3% slower, (just a bit, not much) and you will have more impact with what already is a great voice and vocabulary.
A player performing personal heroics is laudable (shaq, mj), but a player elevating teammates is more valuable.
The „Lionel Messi“ of Basketball!
