The increased media exposure of playing with LeBron would actually accelerate it yeah there is you know if you do a pro and con houses squared uh yeah you know there are Pros it’s not completely cons like no you don’t want LeBron James to come like ultimately it’s not it’s
Likely not gonna happen but if anything you’re right that you know the spotlight would be on San Antonio a lot more because of when B and LeBron the pairing and you know a lot of Spurs fans were rejoicing about a lot of Spurs games on national TV this year so it’ll probably
Like triple you know if if LeBron were to come again I don’t see it come that coming to be you know LeBron in the Spurs uniform next year I I’d be shocked if it does happen but you’re right it would it would accelerate the media

Play small forward forward and form a towering front line once spur find another big to pair with Wy and I think you’re you’re starting to see that little by little Ramon uh you know he’s not getting a bulk of minutes but Barlo is definitely earning minutes out there
Look the Spurs lost Bassie they were without Collins for a while he’s recently come back um from his injury so they were leaning on Barlo and he’s been making you know an impact on the court the energy the um you know doing the hustle moves the hustle stat kind of
Things uh just you know just being a fast quick big and I think the Spurs are going to take a look at him moving forward remember pop recently said I think about a few few weeks ago that part of a rebuild is you look at what you have on the roster moving forward
And Barlo is definitely making a case the spur should be looking at him moving forward I I see what you’re saying you know uh you know that it would be quite an athletic pairing and we we’ve seen flashes of that uh so far this month but with Zack Collins coming back who knows
Maybe that might eat into Bar’s minutes it probably will you know they still list him as questionable for games why because G League meaning he could go be sent to the g-league Austin Spurs but you like the development of Barlo not bad for a guy who went undrafted came out of that

Something like that yeah but nevertheless you you know you look at this in years past Joe it was always it’s the bonding time this team comes together look at that they’re gonna start getting rolling and the last few years it really hasn’t been successful you know sub 500 records on the road to
Your road trip you know before we get into the teams do you expect the same thing another sub 500 road to your road trip I’m gonna prepare uh Spurs fans and say this you better prepare yourselves because this could be a road trip where the Spurs oh yeah I
Winless okay okay well we’re gonna get into the teams in just a bit but you look I’m not expecting this Spurs team to come out of the ro road trip you know with an above 500 record or even at a 500 record I think there’s going to be a lot of
Lumps to be taken I think a lot of lessons to be learned uh you know if anything I I think it’ll just help wimy you know in his development as far as getting used to this big trip this long trip away from San Antonio and whatnot think about
It too for him too not only’s gonna be on the road he has to go to uh Indianapolis for the All-Star weekend so there’s that so there’s more wear and tear on him as in his rookie season uh Joe I look at this and I think perhaps
The best thing can come out of it is Wy getting used to it and maybe some some cohesion some chemistry uh to finish out the season I mean there’s there’s cohesion there with wemi I mean he’s they’re the team’s learning how to how to utilize
Him how to play with him out there on the court and W’s been playing a lot better than he did you know when he had his first month in the league he had to get used to things speed of the game and this of course the Spurs offense and
Defense uh he’s gotten a lot more comfortable in his position I mean now he’s what now he’s the center uh for the San Antonio Spurs so lineups have have settled down quite a bit you know coach po like to get cute in the beginning uh and those experiments did not work and
Now they have some cohesion now that the lineups have kind of subsided and settled down but the thing is that the Spurs are still impervious to winning especially during crunch time everybody that saw the game that was unfolding against the Spurs and the Pelicans you saw a total collapse with the last play
Of the game don’t know why coach pop doesn’t give the the ball to the tallest guy on the court who is 73 feed him in the paint if he makes it just has to do a little bunny hop over everybody gamewinner if not he gets sent to the line possible gamewinner
There where case they tied it up or something just whatever they they rely on a on a on a Hail Mary from Devon vasel from Way Beyond The Ark I mean that’s just indicative of the way that the season has unfolded but the Spurs going and getting ready for this Rodeo
Road Trip they will learn a lot of things on this Rodeo Road Trip being on the road together hopefully those things will translate into the team playing a little bit more consistent as far as them trying to be more competitive and trying to ink out wins learning how to
Win maybe in the fourth quarter that’s been their Vagas fuxa so far is that this team is impervious to winning they just can’t seem to get over the hump late in the fourth quarter during close games and that’s indicative of a team still learning still being young not
Having that experience hey but Jeff this is what happens when you get rid of a lot of your veterans because you’re full on tanking in the Spurs make no doubt about it they are full-on tanking this season as well don’t expect them to make any trades at the trade deadline because
Then that would that would put a rench in what they’re doing and that is tanking Jeff so if the Spurs continue to lose Spurs fans don’t despair that means that they’re gonna get a higher pick in the upcoming draft maybe that will be uh more productive to them winning if they
Can actually get somebody one through three to pair with Wendy but we’ll see yeah we’ll see yeah I think everybody knows by now what is the Rodeo Road Trip uh what it means why they’re gone because the there’s a rodeo literally a rodeo in San Antonio so they got to
Clear out the uh frostbank Center for that event Jeff attending the rodeo what’s that will you be attending the rodeo Oh I think I will I love the grounds I love the grounds no necessarily the shows yeah but I like just walking around the grounds but hot
Dog well well let’s go ahead and put in our thinking cap last look into our crystal ball and see how what we predict the Spurs record will be uh coming out of this year’s Roary road trip all right Joe so let me get a little tally here
Going for us all right I’m gonna go uh Joe on one side and me on the other side okay Joe let’s start off with the first game on the rodary road trip which starts on February 7th Joe they kick things off at Miami who do you got Spurs
Or the Heat oh without question the San Antonio Spurs I expect them to fully lose this game it could be competitive but they’ll find a way to lose in the end all right so Joe has one loss and I I’m gonna agree with you I I
Think the Spurs are going to get a uh get an L so uh you look look you look at Miami you know just a veteran team coach SPO obviously on the sidelines team that is just gritty and physical tough I I expect this Miami team to really come at
The uh Spurs on the the physicality end of things I’m with you I got the Spurs getting an L to start off the rod road trip after that is the Revenge game against Orlando um Spurs lost to the magic last week in San Antonio Joe I think the same
Thing will happen I think the magic get this one what about you I think the magic get this one because look what’s gonna happen Jeff isn’t this the second game of a back-to-back we all know what happens with wemy he’s going to get that mysterious uh injury where he has to sit
Out the game yeah well well hopefully he doesn’t If he if he does then you know we know what’s going to happen but if he doesn’t hey he gives the Spurs a shot but even with wmy I think the Spurs still pick up the L versus Orlando then
They travel to Brooklyn to take on the Nets um this one might I got this on my Raider as a possible I’m gonna pencil that for a win though you know maybe Lonnie Walker will have his revenge game I don’t know but I’m gonna go out on the
Lim and say the Spurs get a win in Brooklyn Joe what do you think oh no no they’re not going to get a win this is going to be the Rev as my kids like to say at game of one Lonnie Walker Lonnie Walker will probably have a spectacular
Performance against his old team and make them longing for why did they get rid of me you know uh so yeah Spurs fans will be all up in arms once the Spurs lose to the Nets saying we need to get Lonnie Lonnie to come back home Lonnie
You already see it coming all right after Brooklyn they’ll take on the Toronto Raptors again I think the Spurs can get this one this is a Raptors team that not the Raptor teams of just recent years uh they looks like they’re going to start their rebuild too I’m going to
Pil the Spurs for a win in Toronto Joe what about you I don’t know man Toronto is one of these teams that the Spurs should easily disat should should easily dispatch but I’m looking at the schedule just as you are Jeff and this gives this
Team about maybe a day and a half two days because the Nets game is on the 10th Raptor’s game is on the 12th that’s a lot of uh flying a lot of miles up there so I think fatigue will start rearing its ugly head and I do not see
The team winning against the Raptors all right so to start off the Roary road trip Joe has them 0 and four so far I got them at two and two it gets now here here it comes where the work begins all right here we go every
Time the Spurs lose you take a shot and it’s not yeah that should be the drinking game right all right after Toronto they go and visit the Mavericks Joe we could just say it’s a loss right there right oh come on just just CH that
One up I don’t even want to watch yeah moving on Luka Don averages his career best numbers against the Spurs no kidding maybe another Point outing by Luca you know would not be surprised if that happens but just Luca alone in his career he sees the Spurs uniform and he
Just goes into another level uh he averages well over 20 points per game it’s a near triple double in his career versus the Spurs not this season his entire career yeah so yeah I got I got the the Spurs losing to Dallas then after that they go to Sacramento to take
On the Kings young upstart team you know but sabonis Darren Fox Malik monk the list goes on and on Joe I think the uh King’s gonna be lighting that beam after the uh the The Hornet sounded huh yeah man you just went ahead and mentioned a
Lot of talent that this team young team has versus the San Antonio Spurs Beyond wemi and you want to go ahead and say Vel what do they really have I mean they have Kellin who’s more of a role player you know Jeremy soan more of a role
Player they don’t have a lot of star power here so going up against a young team who has some some better Talent what do you think is gonna happen Jeff yeah yeah know even if it’s a close game again the talent will take over yeah and the Spurs likely might possibly get get
A loss I for that to go to the Lakers in Los Angeles Joe um LeBron James Anthony Davis if he is playing uh you know whatnot uh you know this is this is a Lakers team that you know could give the Spurs a fit you know we saw what
Happened in the first two meetings this season I think the Spurs split that one in San Antonio one and one you know I’m gonna be crazy here I’m gonna give the Spurs the W I’m gonna be super crazy here I’m gonna give him a win what about you Joe no it’s a the
Second game of a backtack you know what’s gonna happen Joe pop is going to sit Wy ad is going to see that they’re going to sit ad they’re going to have the scrub going up against the team because LeBron be like ad ain’t playing this do they have the Spurs team without
Wy what what’s in it for me to go out there and just you know do some work probably give them both the night off Lakers still find a way to win against this inexperienced spur team after that they go to Utah to take on the Jazz Joe
I’ll let you go first how do you see this game going down that’s the only game I think the Spurs have an actual shot of winning so you give him a w you GNA give him a W uh that one’s a big maybe but I will go ahead and say on
Record I’ll give him the W for that okay at Joe getting him his first win all right yeah you know you got will hardy you know who’s he knows the Spurs Playbook he knows pop look everybody knows each other’s Playbook but there’s something about coming from the Spurs
Family tree that just gives a little extra incentive uh you know Lorie marinan you know Wy that might be a good matchup to watch Colin ston you know the list goes on and on yeah I I I’m with you I think I’m going to give the Spurs
