He is a good sixth man and i think he pair well with Exum in the second unit. Just don’t play him like a starter and more than 25 min.

I don’t understand the point of this graphic lmao

Nico, send this to other GMs!

People act like THJ is a negative player, but he’s not. He’s just the 3rd best player on this team when he should realistically be a 6-7th best on a contender
hooka_donchick
Watch him go 8/16 from 3 next game

Tim hardaway is statistically one of the worst players on defence on the league. He also promotes no offense then scoring. Yes he gets hot but he makes stupid plays which derail a offence which negates the scoring he does. His abysmal defence and threes which turn into fast break opportunities for other teams when he doesn’t hit are worse.

bro dropped like 40 something a few games ago and now all of a sudden everyone’s acting like he’s been averaging 5 pts a game
Zestyclose_Wafer_416
Tim has a minimal bbiq, no handles, plays no defense and has no semblance of shot selection… He’s a chucker that’s it.
IF he’s hot you have a chance to win a game but he’s so consistently inconsistent that’s you can’t count on him for anything aside from you know he’s going to chuck mind numbingly bad shots.
He’s just an awful player to play with Luka and to watch play as a fan of the team he’s on.
He MUST be traded so the Mavs can grow
freestajlarn
This guy isn’t allowed to have bad games apparently. He can have 3 monster games and one bad and people say “trade him” right away, the grass isn’t always greener

Surely with numbers like that we could get someone decent that fits us better
PSi_Terran
He’s also -61 net rating in this same period

THJ is THJ. He’s a streaky volume shooter, which means that the highs are high and the lows are low. There have been a fair number of highs this year, which explains why, throughout most of this season, he’s been in the conversation for Sixth Man of the Year.
Nevertheless, on another thread, some poster suggested that the Mavs should give up one of their precious draft picks (which will be needed for any “big move” this summer) just to get some other team to take THJ off our hands . . . “cuz Timmy sux balls,” etc., etc.
Sure, we have more pressing needs than a streaky 3-point bomber, but there are forward-heavy teams that could actually use a volume shooter like Tim to stretch the floor (e.g., Orlando), and to suggest that THJ is so bad that he could not be a part of any real “deal” that would bring back a useful piece reflects an over-the-top kind of self-hatred that seems to infect some fans on this sub.

I mean, we know the deal with Tim, he has a great game and then he has a down game and then he’s back to having a great game. He’s a shooter and he’s going to get either hot or cold
PussyCharlatan
I keep trying to talk myself into us keeping him and maybe with players he understands are better than him he’ll play his role, but the dude doesn’t think with the ball in his hands. We need to get a contributor for him before it’s too late and hope other teams in dire need of shooting bite. It’s so much deeper than whether or not he hits shots. If that’s all you understand the game is lost on you.

I guess it’s about tim the Tim defenders show up.
Trade this bum
The “in his career” does a lot for this sentence
