I don’t know that I’d really put a lot of stock into a 69 (nice) minute sample size, but there is one thing that IS clear – surround SGA with shooting and this team wins a LOT of games.

And Cason Wallace over Dort (with rest starting 5) is 4th one in minutes with net rating of +24. All but stating one have too small sample size IMO.

Beyond the 69 minute sample, the other problem with raw +- is the context.
By the time Joe comes in, your almost certainly playing against part-bench units (or in select end of game minutes, which is another conflating factor as lots of freethrow-fouling occurs given we are more likely to be ahead given our record).
So, the +- might just look fantastic because we’ve feasted with an all starter + joe squad vs bench guys.
580 minutes at +6.9 is a fantastic outcome. I wish us fans weren’t in such a rush to fuck around with something that is clearly working.

That 2nd lineup owns the league, just imagine Mark rolling with those 5 post ASB, we’d continue to be killed on the boards but we’d also be damn near unstoppable on offense. I also like that joe isn’t some one dimensional player who can only shoot, he’s actually passable as a team defender and shows effort.
